Jade's POV:

8:30 am, February 12th, 2019:

I felt so bad for Perrie. Throwing up is the worst feeling. Well, other than running out of Disney movies to watch. Perrie and I are gonna go to a recording studio today, she and I have been writing music lately, we both share a big passion for it and we have been writing for a few weeks, and we are planning to release one of our songs.

"Pez, wake up." I whispered, shaking her gently, "Baby, come on," She squeezed her eyes shut tighter. I chuckled and slipped out from under her, going into the bathroom, grabbing a towel, and putting cold water on it,

"Perrie, if you don't wake up soon, you're gonna get a face full of sink water," I said. She jolted up and stretched,

"No, no need. I'm awake." She said. I laughed and put the towel back in the bathroom.

"Are you feeling better from last night?" I asked, she shrugged and got up. She checked her phone and her eyes widened,

"Shit!" She yelled,

"What? What happened?" I asked frantically, she shook her head,

"Nothing, it's fine. I just forgot to text my mom to let her know I was staying here." She said,

"I probably distracted you. Sorry." I said.

"No, no you didn't. Just, let me call her, hold on." She said, dialing her mom's number.

"Hey, mom. Yeah, yeah, I know I'm sorry. I was stay- Mom, just let me explain," Perrie struggled to get her panicked mom to stop talking, and I stifled a laugh. Getting up and grinning at Perrie, I went out into the kitchen and turned on the kettle.

A few minutes later Perrie came out of the room, sighing and plopping down onto the couch,

"So, the call went well, huh?" I said, bringing over a cup of tea for her. She gave me a look and took the tea,

"I swear she is too protective." She said, taking a sip of her tea,

"Oh, yeah it must suck having a mom who loves you," I said. She chuckled at my comment,

"Yeah, yeah. I love her to pieces but she needs to let go a little. I barely get to go out unless she knows you or Niall is with me." She said. I nodded,

"That's a good point, yeah," I said, sipping my tea as well. I put my tea down and picked up the remote, turning on the tv.

"Are we gonna go to the recording studio today?" Perrie asked, watching the tv.

"I think so, yeah. I gotta text Robert though." I said, she hummed in response. Robert was our good friend who we are making our producer because he's really good at producing songs and he's already produced our song "15 Dozen Roses." Which is one of our favorites, Perrie sounds really, really good on it.

After we drank our tea and ate some breakfast, we headed to the studio. Before we walked in, I dropped my bag, making multiple things fall out,

"Bloody hell, Jade," Perrie said, chuckling at my clumsiness. She bent down and helped me pick up the books, as we were picking them up, we both looked at each other at the same time. Perrie's eyes looked really pretty. Everything about her is pretty, and I'm jealous. Her eyes are a beautiful ocean blue, which is very easy to get lost in. We stared into each other's eyes for a few seconds, not moving. I was just lost in her eyes, what is going on?

"Girls, come on!" Robert yelled from the window of the studio. Perrie and I immediately looked away from each other and jumped up. Perrie handed me the books and I silently thanked her as we walked inside the studio.

Perrie's POV:

Goddamnit Jade. You probably know what just happened outside the studio. Obviously, my heart is fluttering, butterflies, you know. My only question is, why didn't she move? she stared into my eyes too...

"Perrie?" I heard Jade's accent, I looked up and saw her walking out of the recording booth, "Your turn babe." She said. I nodded and got up, going into the booth. I sang my verse into the mic, Robert giving me tips, take after take. By the 5th take we had got it and I got out of the booth,

"You talented little bastard," Jade said. I giggled and shook my head,

"Shut it. You're so much better than me." I stated, and before she could respond, or fight me on this, I put my hand over her mouth and whispered in her ear,

"Shh, don't try and fight it. You know I'm right." When I leaned away, her eyes were wide,

"Um, you okay?" I asked, she cleared her throat, her eyes returning back to normal,

"Mhm, yes. Let's go." She stuttered, grabbing her back from the couch. I furrowed my eyebrows, confused about why she is acting weird all of a sudden, but I let it go, grabbing my bag as well.

We got in the car after saying bye to Robert,

"Do you want to get some ice cream or something?" I asked Jade as we got in. She shrugged,

"I don't mind. I'll drive to the mall." She said, starting the car. I turned on "Adore You" by Harry Styles, knowing Jade couldn't resist this song. She and I danced and sang the lyrics loudly as we drove to the mall.

Once we got there, we went to the ice cream place. After we got our food, we found a table and sat down, beginning to eat. Jade had said something really funny, making me spit out my water,

"Perrie! Jesus Christ, look what you've done." She said, grabbing a napkin. I was still laughing, choking at this point. Jade scooted her chair closer and started to pat my back, trying to help the choking,

"Drink more, drink more," She handed me my drink and I took a few sips. Jade was laughing too, her laugh is my favorite sound. Just moments like these, laughing together and joking around, make me wonder, how did I get so lucky?
