"Salem... what are you..."

"Go to your chambers. Bar the door. OPen it for no one but me." Salem insisted nudging Sansa away.

"Salem-" Sansa objected.

"Now Sansa." Salem corrected as she took a steadying step forward.

"Salem... I..."

"What the hell Theon?" Salem demanded.

"Reek." he whimpered.

"What?"

"Not Theon. Reek." He corrected.

"What?" Salem questioned as Theon shook moving farther away in his kennel cell. "What happened?"

"You shouldnt be here, Salem. You need to go. You need to go." Theon whimpered out through chattering teeth.

"Why are you here?" Salem whispered as she crouched beside him. "Theon-"

"Reek." He whimpered.

"What did they do to you?" Salem rasped.

"Go. Go. Please. Salem go." Theon begged.

''You smell particularly ripe this evening." Ramsay remarked when Theon came in. He remained quiet as he waited for instructions. ''Pour me some wine." Theon poured the wine wordlessly. ''Do you have something to tell me?''

''No, my lord.''

''Reek.'' Ramsay coed, his word sweet like venom.

''She saw me.'' Theon whimpered.

''Who?''

''Salem and Sansa.''

''Lady Salem and Lady Sansa." Ramsay remarked slowly.

''They came to the kennels.'' Theon whimpered

''She saw you?''

'' Yes. I'm sorry, master. Forgive me. I didn't think--'' Theon rambled.

''Come here.'' Ramsay instructed grabbing hold of Theon's head. ''You mustn't keep secrets from me, Reek. Get on your knees." Theon obeyed. ''Give me your hand." Theon held out his hand. ''I forgive you.'' Theon stared up at him amazed.

"He kept saying we shouldnt be here and his name is Reek." Salem remarked. "It didnt make any sense but he was terrified."

"He killed our brothers." Sansa reminded her.

"I know and I hate him for it but... Sansa... I dont know. That wasnt Theon. Not the boy we knew. They broke him." Salem remarked. "He deserved it but..."

"You wanted to be the one to break him." Sansa realized.

"Maybe a little." Salem agreed softly as Ramsay came up to them.

"I'm scared, I dont want to be here." Sansa whispered.

"Goodnight, Sansa. You look so tired." Salem cut in.  Sansa stared back at her confused. "I do hope you feel better in the morrow." she added and sansa heard footsteps before nodding. "Perhaps I will send some food up in a bit if you are hungry?"

"Yes, thank you Salem. Goodnight." Sansa agreed sealing her door.

"Oh, hello Ramsay." Salem coed. Ramsay moved slowly to her, kissing her cheek.

"Walk with me to supper, or are you tired as well?" Ramsay pondered.

"Wide awake." Salem assured as she held onto his arm.

''I trust you find your chamber suitable, my lady.'' Ramsay remarked as they walked.

''Yes, thank you, Ramsay." Salem agreed. "Not my chambers but... it will do." Ramsay noticed that she said Ramsay and not my lord, he didnt like her rebelliousness but he found it so sexy all the same.

"My lady," Ramsay coed pulling out Salems chair.

"Such a gentleman." Salem lied as she took a seat.

''Allow me." Ramsay said kindly as he pulled his new step mothers chair out for her. ''Mother." He offered a kind smile.

''Thank you, Ramsay.'' Walda Frey said kindly.

''My lady, we are all a family, we northerners... Our blood ties go back thousands of years. So I'd like to drink to our wedding." Ramsay remarked raising a glass. ''May our happiness spread from Moat Cailin to the Last Hearth."

"To your wedding."

'' To your wedding." they echoed. Salem mumbled a response as she took a long sip of her wine.

''It must be difficult for you being in a strange place.'' Walda remarked.

'This isn't a strange place." Salem corrected. ''This is my home. It's the people who are strange. I also lied, I dont like the room I'm in. It was Theon's room and I hate it.''

''You're right. Very strange." Ramsay agreed smirking over his cup.

''More wine, please." Salem begged.

"I'm terribly sorry." Roose offered.

"About which part?" Salem countered. Roose cleared his throat as he took a bite of his meal. Ramsay loved how easily Salem made his father flustered.  Salem stared at Theon as he poured her the wine. He kept his eyes down, refusing to look at her.

''I heard you two had reunited. A fitting place for it. I like to imagine that the last time you spoke was in this very room." Ramsay remarked, Salem stared back at Theon. ''Are you still angry with him after he... what he did?" Ramsay mused looking between them. Salem's gaze shifted to Ramsay and she looked just as murderous.

''Don't worry. The North remembers. I punished him for it." Ramsay assured. Salem stared back at Ramsay wordlessly. ''He's not ironborn anymore. Not Theon Greyjoy anymore. He's a new man." Ramsay declared but smirked back at Theon. ''A new person, anyway. Aren't you, Reek?''

''Yes, master.'' Theon answered obediently.

'' That's his new name-- Reek." Ramsay clarified.

"Yes I heard." Salem agreed. "Why did you care though? YOu didnt know my family or I." Salem remarked. "You were a bastard but a few moons ago no?" Ramsay hissed out a breath. "Your father did worse. Possibly... so Ramsay my beloved future husband... Why are you doing this?'' Salem questioned and Ramsay leaned back in his chair his tongue peaked out from between his lips. She was perfect.

''Because Reek has something to say to you. Don't you, Reek?'' Ramsay asked turning back to Theon. ''An apology. Apologize to Lady Salem for what you did." Salem stared back at Ramsay a moment longer. ''Apologize for murdering her two brothers." Ramsay went on.

''I'm sorry.'' Theon whimpered.

''Look at her, Reek.'' Ramsay demanded as Theon's eyes slowly moved up from his feet. ''An apology doesn't mean anything if you're not looking the person in the eye."

"I'm sorry."

"Sorry about what?" Ramsay prompted.

''For killing your brothers." Theon whimpered out holding back a sob.

''There, over and done with. Doesn't everyone feel better?" Ramsay remarked smiling happily. ''I do. That was getting very tense. Whew.'' Ramsay said grinning as he wiped a hand over his forehead. ''You know what, my lady? What with him having murdered your brothers and the rest of your family gone... Reek here is the nearest thing to living kin that you have left." Ramsay remarked. Salem stared at Ramsay perplexed.

"Sansa." Salem reminded him.

''Reek. You will give away the bride. Someone has to. What better person?" Ramsay declared. Salem's mouth hung open, he couldn't be serious. ''Good? Good? Yes, yes, very good." Ramsay declared with a clap. ''Wonderful.''

"Roose." Salem countered. "Where is my apology?" Roose scoffed as he looked to Ramsay. "Dont look at him, look at me, it doesnt count unless you look me in the eyes."
