You were a part of Count Olaf’s group, in fact, you were his sibling. Of course, being his sibling had its perks, protection 24/7, getting things for free (He steals them for you) ect but it also had its downsides, for example, he drags you everywhere he goes and when he gets in trouble, you get into trouble. Which is how you got here, dressed up as a nurse in a raggedy half built hospital trying to find the children your brother has been after.

“This is boring” You mutter

You jumped as a woman with short curly hair appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, you swear you hadn’t seen anyone earlier

“Hi! I’m Babs, Head of human resources, administration, and party planning” She said the last one with a bit of smugness

Your brother mumbled something under his breath and rolled his eyes

“Well Babs, me and my colleagues are going to go now” He reached for your hand, planning on taking you away from this weird woman

“Wait! You can’t go, you have to do paperwork. It’s the only way you can get in” She smiled politely

Olaf muttered a curse under his breath

You were bored so you decided to entertain yourself

“What if we don’t do the paperwork and you let us in anyway?” You winked at her, of course, she wasn’t going to do it but she will entertain you

“Well then I’ll have to call the police on you, sweetie” She smirked

You both stood there, faces inches away from each other

You failed to notice your brother and his henchmen staring at you two weirdly

“Um boss? They’re looking at each other pretty we-” One of the white-faced woman spoke

“I can see that” Your brother grumbled, he wasn’t having any of it

He cleared his throat quite loudly and waved his hand in front of your faces

“We’ll just do the paperwork” He snatched the paper out of her hands, and grabbed yours

Ah, crushes. They are the most beautiful and terrifying thing.
You felt stupid, you were acting like a schoolgirl, all giddy about a crush
Your happy attitude didn’t go unnoticed by your brother, he, of course, wasn’t going to kill her straight away. He wouldn’t want to see his younger sibling cry but. . .he will teach her a brief lesson on why she should stay away from you. She wouldn’t want to lose everything she has, would she?
