Nickel x Tired! Reader

Side notes: you are an object in this chapter, this takes place in season 3, you joined because you were a recommended character/fan, and you call nickel by they/them pronouns since you didn't know his pronouns when you met him.

DISCLAIMER!!: Y/N goes by they/them since i don't know your pronouns so it's just easier to put that. As you are reading it you could read it as whatever pronouns you'd like!

Y/N POV

Today, I am going to join a reality show! 'I hope people like me.' I thought as I started to zone out, lost in my thoughts. Mephone4 then pulled down the curtain, revealing us. "Uh, Y/N?" Mephone4 said, annoyed. When I heard my name I snapped back to reality and looked up at Mephone4. "Huh?.. Oh!" I say as I snapped out of my trance. "Hi everyone!" I say, excitedly. I look over at everyone and wave. I sigh a sigh of relief as Mephone4 introduced the next person. I looked at the ground and began to get lost in my thoughts. 'What if they judge me?'

Those types of thoughts swirled in my head. Tears started to form in my eyes. I began to walk away from everyone and sat behind a tree. I put my knees up to my chest and began to sob quietly. I began to rock myself back and forth as I panicked. I suddenly heard footsteps coming towards me. Fear started to rush through my body. I started to shake vividly. I looked away from where the footsteps were. I didn't want people to see me like this. Suddenly, someone sat down next to me. "Talk to me when you're ready to, okay?" They said. I brought my head up from my knees and rubbed my eyes. I looked over at them. "Are you okay?" They said. "N..No, not really.." I mumbled as they scooted closer at me and began to look in my eyes. "Do you want to talk about it?" They asked. "Yes, please.." I said, quietly while avoiding eye contact. "Okay, let it all out. Just talk to me." They said, looking into my eyes. "Well..I feel afraid. Afraid that, anything I do will be judged..Afraid that people will judge me for expressing my emotions. Afraid that..people will talk about me.." I mumbled. I haven't opened up to anyone in years. "Don't worry. I won't judge you." They said. "Okay..I guess..Thanks for listening to me. Thank you..uhh..What's your name?" I asked them. "My name is Nickel! What's yours?" Nickel asked looking at me. "My name is Y/N!" I say, smiling. I was so happy that I made a friend...ish..I guess that's the word! "Hey, um..What's your pronouns?" I asked. "My pronouns are he/him! What're yours?" Nickel asked. "My pronouns are they/them!" I said, smiling warmly at Nickel. He was usually sarcastic to other people but except me. This felt kinda weird to me.

Y/N POV (the sun has set)

I was walking on the coast of the island. The waves crashing into eachother was illuminated by the moon glow. I wasn't watching where I was going. I was more focused on the moonlight glow reflecting off of the water. It looked very beautiful. Suddenly I bumped into someone. "Oh jeez!..I'm so sorry!!" I immediately said before looking up to see who I bumped into. It was Nickel. "Hey, Y/N. I haven't seen you in a while. Would you like to sit down with me and just chill?" Nickel asked before sitting back down on the sand. I nodded as I sat down next to him. The bright moonlight glow reflected off of Nickel's shiny surface. I blushed and looked away. As we continued to look at the moon in silence as I felt myself drifting off to sleep.

Y/N POV (in the morning)

My eyes slowly opened. I squinted my eyes at the unexpected sunlight glow, hitting my eyes. I felt something move at my side. I was still laying down on the sand. I looked at what it was and to my surprise, it was Nickel. He was snuggled up next to me. He didn't have arms so he couldn't hug me so he just nuzzled into me more. I blushed madly as I looked down at him. I gave him a little peck on his cheek (?) before laying back down and drifting back to sleep.
