Y/n's POV

I sat on a tree branch quietly, a clicker slowly limping below. I put the silencer on my gun and took aim right at the backs of its head. I pulled the trigger and a small 'pew' was heard, and the clicker fell to the ground. I sighed as I got down from the tree branch and dragged the clickers body away from the edge of my camp, just in case it isn't dead all the way. I walked back to my tent in my small camp, the small crackles of the fire could be heard from outside the tent, a small smile appeared on my face before disappearing once I heard the sounds of multiple clickers.

I quickly got out of my tent and put the fire out as the clicking sounds got closer. I took a deep breath as I sat in my tent quietly waiting for them to pass. It took a solid 15-20 minutes for the sounds to finally fade and it to become safe to come out again. I quietly climbed out the tent and started packing my stuff, the infected (of any kind) have been way more frequent around here lately. I took down my tent and packed it into a light, small bag. I double checked my bag and then began my journey to find a new place to set up camp or at least some sort of base.

Still Y/n's POV

As I was walking, I suddenly heard a mix of running, multiple voices, and what sounded like clickers not too far ahead of me. I quickly pulled out my gun and ran to see what the commotion was. I slowed down as I saw two clickers surrounding a group of seven people. I shot one clicker in the back of the head as smirked as it fell to the ground, but it soon fell as the other clicker whipped it disgusting looking face towards me as I grimaced. "Oh shit.." I muttered as the it began charging towards me. I quickly dodged out the way and accidentally bumped into a car, which caused me to drop my gun and it to slide under the car. My eyes widened when I saw the clicker sprinting behind me in the reflection of the car mirror, I dodged out the way and quickly pulled my pocket knife out my back pocket. I jabbed it into the side of the clickers neck and dragged it to the other side. Shortly after I pulled my knife out of its neck, I flicked the disgusting creatures forehead, which caused its head to fall off.

I then bent down to grab my gun and walked towards the other clicker that laid still on the ground. I shot three more bullets into its head as a precaution to make sure it's dead. I then looked at the group of adults and sighed, "You guys okay?" I asked softly. "OMG! That as so cool!" A brunette girl with beautiful blue eyes exclaimed. I smiled a bit, "Thank you." I replied. The woman smiled back at me before being bumped out the way by a taller man with short, curly brown hair. "Who are you? And why did you help us?"" he asked with a look of suspicion. I let out a nervous breath, 'why did I help these people?' I thought to myself. I look at the man with a confused expression, finally thinking of an excuse, "Is it illegal for me to just help some people in need?" I said with a hint of annoyance, "Am I not aloud to just help someone now that the apocalypse is going on?"

The man let out a frustrated groan, "Whatever," he ordered, "lets go everyone!" The people all nodded, and gathered their little bit of goods that could be salvaged. "Uhmm.. You're welcome?" I said while rolling my eyes. A few small "bye!"s and "thanks!" are said before most of the group start to head off. The woman with long brown hair and the beautiful eyes came up to me, "Thank you.. like a lot of thank you's. H-have a nice rest of your day !" she said with a beautiful smile. "You're welcome and thank you." I reply with a smile as the woman runs to catch up with her group before I continue on my journey.

Happy Outbreak Anniversary to Me?
