MATT RIDDLE

Matt Riddle and his boyfriend, Y/N, were lounging on the couch, each holding a Joy-Con of their Nintendo Switch. They were playing Pokemon, a game they both loved.

"Alright, I choose Pikachu!" Matt said, excitedly selecting his Pokemon.

"I'm going with Charizard," Y/N responded, a smile spreading across their face.

The game started, and both players were focused on the screen, their eyes darting back and forth as they strategized their next move.

"Use Thunderbolt!" Matt shouted, as Pikachu unleashed a powerful electric attack on Charizard.

"Dragon Claw!" Y/N countered, and Charizard roared as it swiped at Pikachu with its sharp claws.

The two players were so engrossed in the game that they didn't even notice the time passing by. They were laughing and shouting, egging their Pokemon on to victory.

After what seemed like hours, the final battle began. Pikachu and Charizard were both badly damaged, and the outcome was uncertain.

"Come on, Pikachu, one more Thunderbolt!" Matt urged, as he pressed the buttons on his Joy-Con with all his might.

Pikachu obeyed, and the electric attack hit Charizard square on. Charizard stumbled but quickly regained its footing and breathed a stream of fire at Pikachu.

"Charizard, use Fire Blast!" Y/N shouted.

The two attacks collided, creating a huge explosion on the screen. When the dust cleared, both Pokemon were lying on the ground, motionless.

Matt and Y/N held their breath, waiting to see who would get up first. Suddenly, Pikachu stirred and got back on its feet.

"Yes! We did it!" Matt exclaimed, pumping his fist in the air.

Y/N smiled, happy for Matt and proud of their Charizard. "Good job, both of you," they said, putting down their Joy-Con.

Matt leaned over and gave Y/N a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks for playing with me," he said. "That was so much fun."

Y/N chuckled. "Anytime, my love. Anytime."

The two of them continued to play Pokemon, laughing and chatting as they caught new Pokemon and explored the world together. They were grateful to have each other and this shared love of the game. And they knew that no matter what challenges they faced in life, they would always have each other and their love of Pokemon to bring them back together.
