You've been dating Kane, the WWE superstar, in secret for months now. You didn't want the added pressure and attention that came with a public relationship, and neither did Kane. But that all changed when a fellow wrestler, jealous of the attention Kane was giving you, started spreading rumors about the two of you.

At first, you thought it was just harmless gossip, but then the rumors started to become more vicious and personal. They claimed that you were only with Kane for fame and fortune, that you were using him for your own gain. Kane tried to ignore it, but he couldn't bear the thought of someone tarnishing your reputation or his own.

One night, after a particularly grueling match, Kane came to your hotel room looking visibly agitated. You could tell that something was weighing heavily on his mind. "What's going on?" you asked as he sat down beside you.

"It's just getting worse," he said, running a hand through his hair. "The rumors are spreading like wildfire, and I don't know how to stop them."

You took his hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. "We'll figure it out together," you said. "We'll show everyone that our love is real and not based on some petty agenda."

Kane looked at you with gratitude and admiration in his eyes. "You're amazing, you know that?" he said. "I'm lucky to have you."

You smiled, feeling the warmth in your chest. "I feel the same way," you said. "And I'll do whatever it takes to protect our relationship."

Over the next few weeks, you and Kane worked tirelessly to disprove the rumors. You showed up together at events, holding hands and showing affection in public. You posted pictures of yourselves on social media, letting your fans and followers see your love in action.

But no matter what you did, the rumors persisted. It seemed that some people were determined to believe the worst of you and Kane.

One day, after a particularly bad match, you received a barrage of hate messages on your social media accounts. They called you names, accused you of lying, and even threatened your safety. You tried to brush it off, but the words stung.

Kane noticed your distress and asked you what was wrong. You showed him the messages, tears welling up in your eyes. "I don't know how much longer I can take this," you said.

Kane wrapped his arms around you, holding you close. "I won't let them get to you," he said fiercely. "We'll fight this together, no matter what it takes."

And so you did. You kept fighting, showing the world that your love was real and true. Slowly but surely, the rumors started to die down. People began to see that you and Kane were just two people in love, trying to navigate the ups and downs of life together.

In the end, your relationship emerged stronger than ever before. The rumors may have caused you both pain, but they also brought you closer together, showing you that you could overcome anything as long as you had each other.

The rumors died a little bit and some even supported your relationship but the rumors still didn't disappear. One day at work the two of you where talking in your dressing about the rumors

"You know love I thought I couldn't handle the rumors but with you I handled it"You said Kane smiled and took your hand. "I have to admit, I was a little worried. But I trust you, and I know we can handle anything that comes our way."

You leaned into him, feeling relieved and grateful. "Thank you, Kane. I love you so much."

"I love you too," he said, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead.

As the weeks went by, you and Kane grew even closer. You started spending more time together outside of work, going on dates and exploring the city together. Despite the occasional stares and whispers from other wrestlers, you both were happy and content.

But one day, things changed. You walked into the locker room to find several wrestlers gathered around, whispering and snickering. Your heart sank as you realized they were talking about you and Kane.

"What's going on?" you asked, trying to keep your voice steady.

One of the wrestlers turned to you, a sneer on his face. "Looks like the lovebirds are finally out in the open," he said, nodding towards you and Kane.

You felt your cheeks heat up with embarrassment and anger. "That's not true," you said, trying to sound confident. "We're just friends."

The wrestler laughed. "Sure you are. We've all seen the way he looks at you. It's not just friendship, kid."

Kane stepped forward, his towering figure making the other wrestlers take a step back. "Is there a problem here?" he asked, his voice low and menacing.

The wrestlers looked at Kane nervously, but one of them spoke up. "Just talking about the rumors, man. Don't get all worked up."

Kane crossed his arms over his chest, a dangerous glint in his eye. "What rumors?"

The wrestlers looked at each other, unsure of what to say. But one of them finally spoke up. "We heard that you and (Y/N) are dating. Is it true?"

Kane didn't hesitate. "Yes, it is. And I don't appreciate the way you're talking about us. We're both adults, and we can handle our own relationship. We don't need you to spread rumors and try to cause trouble."

The wrestlers mumbled some apologies and quickly dispersed, leaving you and Kane alone in the locker room.

You looked up at him, feeling grateful for his protective nature. "Thank you, Kane. You always know how to handle things."

Kane pulled you into a tight hug, holding you close. "I won't let anyone come between us, (Y/N). I love you too much for that."

You smiled, feeling safe and loved in his embrace. "I love you too, Kane. Always."
