Drew McIntyre and his husband, y/n, were sitting in the airplane, on their way to Scotland. Drew was looking out the window, lost in thought, while y/n was flipping through a travel magazine.

"I can't believe we're finally going to Scotland," y/n said, breaking the silence.

Drew turned to look at him and smiled. "I know. I've been looking forward to this trip for a long time."

"Me too," y/n said, putting the magazine down. "I've always wanted to see where you grew up."

"Well, now's your chance," Drew said, reaching for y/n's hand.

As the plane landed in Scotland, they made their way to their hotel, eager to start exploring.

Over the next few days, they visited all sorts of historical and cultural sites, from the ruins of ancient castles to museums filled with artifacts from the country's rich history.

But Drew's favorite part of the trip was taking y/n to see the place where he grew up. He showed him his childhood home and the local pub where he used to spend time with his friends.

"It's so different from what I'm used to," y/n said, taking in the sights and sounds of the small Scottish village.

"It is," Drew said with a smile. "But I think that's what I love about it. It's a place where I can just be myself, away from the bright lights and noise of the WWE."

They spent the rest of the trip exploring the countryside, hiking through the hills and visiting small villages. They even visited the Highlands, where they watched traditional Scottish dances and drank from the local whiskey distillery.

As their trip came to an end, Drew took y/n to the top of a hill, overlooking the city.

"This is it," Drew said, pointing to the city below. "This is my home, and I'm so glad I get to share it with you."

He turned to look at y/n and took both of his hands in his. "I love you, y/n. You make me so happy, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."

y/n smiled and leaned in to kiss Drew, and they stood there for a long time, taking in the view and the moment.

As they made their way back to the hotel, they both knew that this trip to Scotland would be a memory they would cherish forever.
