Mikuell POV
It was dark already when I woke up in an unfamiliar room and suddenly I remembered that I was inside specifically, in Mikky's bed. Then a soft tug in my shirt made me turned my head to my right and it was a wrong move.
Her face is so near mine. I can smell her intoxicating scent. Her warm breath touching my face. She then mumbled in between her sleeps that she was feeling cold. She pulled me closer to her which made me kiss her nose. I was surprised by it. I pulled myself away from her face but she tighten her grip. She burried her face to my neck. I can't help but smile. Even if she is in a deep sleep, she's still beautiful.
I tug her blanket and put it on to her. I slowly set my foot to the cold wooded floor and ensuring that she didn't woke up. I went to her window and closed the curtain. Then I realized those tiny sparking lights inside her room. It looks you are floating in the space. I smiled. I bet she love the sky and watching the stars. I am mesmerized. She's an amazing person. Then I saw a little bottle on top of her side table. I knew it! She's ill. My smile drop off.
I went down to her house and realized that no one's home. I directly go to the fridge and saw a note saying that they gone somewhere. I pulled up a drink inside the fridge. I looked at something that I can cook for Mikky.
So I decided to cook just a fried chicken. A small amount of rice since I kind of like it. This is what I usually cook when I'm alone. Then I saw a noodle and made up my mind cooking some ramen. I love japanese food, honestly.
"Hey Kayl," she said in her sleepy voice. Cute! I thought to myself.
"Oh! Glad you're awake. Good thing, I'm done already with this. Take a seat," I told her. She took her seat and yawned. I laugh at her and she just smiled.
"Where's everyone, by the way?" She asked.
"They leaved a note saying that they went somewhere," I gave her the note and she pouted. She really is adorable! I served her the dinner and we ate silently.
"Hey! If you don't mind me asking you Mikky, why were you continuosly skipping class last week?" I said looking at her straight. She frowned but then smiled and continued eating her ramen. Okay! She doesn't want to talk about it.
"Wait! I have something for you," I said and run outside to my car. I opened my back seat door and grabbed my bag. I then quickly returned and put my bag at the sofa and went to the kitchen. I saw her taking her pills and I smiled.
"Let me wash the dishes," I said and took our plates.
While washing the plates, I can sense that she is staring at my back but I remained silent. She then suddenly sang a song.
Since the time I woke up
I thought everything's going like its always been
Until you showed up
The song is very unfamiliar to me. Did she composed it? It sounds good! I didn't know she has a wonderful voice. I faced her and saw her smiling.
Since the time I woke up
All I know is that I'm at a place I've never been
Until you came up
And I was surprised And I realized
This is not the feeling that I usually feel
She stares at me right in my eyes while singing those lines. As if her eyes were telling me that she mean to say it to me.
Now tell me why (now tell me why)
Now tell me why
You're not playing fair
