Gon's POV*

*still at lunch*

"So where do you want to work on the project?" Kurapika asked.

"How about the tiny diner down the street."Leorio pitched in.

"Sounds good to me. Killua?" I ask looking over at him.

He has finish the half of the sandwich I grab him. He sat quietly looking down at the table.

"Mhm." He said quietly.

He was very quiet. I don't think shy is the word for it though. He seems like he distant himself from people. I understand why, everyone here are sick heads other then the three of us sitting with him.

"So tonight? 6pm work for you guys?"

"Yeah sounds good. Meet you guys there."

We finished up our lunch, Killua left very quickly. Not saying a word. I walked with Kurapika and Leorio to our next class. I followed behind them as they lightly flirted with each other.

"So there is party at my buddy Kites place on the 15th. Wondering if you'd like to go?" Leorio asked Kurapika. It was the 2nd of September so it was in almost 2 weeks.

"Kite? Oh I know kite! He helped me on my first day." I state.

"Uh yeah sure! I'll come!" Kurapika giggled.

"Gon you should come too! I'm trying to convince Killua to go but he's being a party pooper." Leorio huffed.

"Ah yeah maybe..." I sighed.

The last classes went smoothly. The last bell rang at 3:45pm letting us leave school. I haven't seen Killua since lunch either. I wonder where he went?

He probably just had classes somewhere else or maybe in the office again. I shrugged it off and started biking home. I'll have a couple hours to study and do homework before going to the diner. Once I made it home I walked through the door and my aunt was sitting on the couch.

"Hey aunt Mito I'm home."

"Gon! How was your first day?"

"Really good actually, made a few friends."

"Yeah? When are you going to bring them over?" She grinned.

"Ahh I don't know. But I have a project for school with them and we are gonna meet at the diner near the school if that's okay."

"Of course that's fine with me, just be home by 9pm please."

"Sure thing. I'm gonna head up stairs to do my homework." I smile, waving at her before going up to my room.

I throw my book bag on my bed and opened it up. Pulling out a math book and a few pieces of paper. I walked over to my desk and turned on the small light. On the desk where were a few drawings I've been working on. I moved them over gently and started my homework.

Killua's POV*

I left quickly after lunch, I didn't want to be here any longer. Outside of school I feel normal, I can do things without people staring and breathing down my neck. There's no other high schools that I can switch to around here, not like my parents would switch me anyways. Illumi is probably gonna chew me out when he finds out I ditched again. He was the principal. His husband was Mr Marrow, thank god I don't have his class.

I walked down the street with my hands in my pockets. It was a nice day out today. I went into the woods to sit at my usually spot. It was a place where I could think, listen to the breeze through the trees and small wild life running around. It was calming. A approached the pond in the center of the woods, the light of the sun reflecting on the surface. The water was clear, you could see all of the fish swimming around.
