"Tell me." He turned his attention to me.

"I don't know from where to start... " I said, avoiding his eyes.

"From the beginning of course. It is the best way to start. " He answered me.

If only it was that easy. I thought.

"I don't believe in humans being completely good." I said.

"Don't you think at least some of us are genuinely good people?" He asked me again, trying to find my eyes.

"I don't know. We all have done something bad in order to convince ourselves we're still good. " We both looked at the horizon.

"Do you regret it?" I didn't understand his question this time, so I answered his question with another question.

"What do you mean?" Turning his attention to me, he asked again.

"Do you regret it? Everything? Anything? Whatever you did? " We looked at each other for the first time since we started the conversation.

"No, I don't at the time it was necessary, it felt liberating in a way I needed." I paused.

"Everything that happened made me realize that no matter how hard we try to change destiny, some stories are not meant to have a happy ending.

I was so deep into my world, a world full of darkness no one will ever understand.
A world full of self-destruction and chaos.

I liked it, I still do.

I wanted to feel numb, feel nothing. I was so ready to fight until I realized that I was fighting alone against something inevitable. I was fighting against life.

The thing is that I just wanted to have a simple life. To have a simple life. But life is never simple. It is not meant to be kept simple."
