Waking up in the morning was very awkward to say the least.
Harry had woken up with his head buried deep in Louis chest, Louis' arm tight and protective around Harry.
The moment he realized what was happening he shot up and hurried out of bed, causing Louis to open his eyes and sit up with his back against the headboard.
"What's happening?" Louis asked tiredly rubbing his eyes with his fists.
"Y-you need to leave." Harry stuttered. "I don't want to see you more than necessary." Harry finished staring at Louis with wide tired eyes.
With that said, Harry sighed and turned around getting ready for another day at his new college.

It's been a few weeks and Louis hasn't tried to speak to Harry ever since that awkward morning.
Harry had met a guy named Niall in his literature class that same morning, and they've been hanging out a lot getting to know each other ever since. With Harry not having much free time, Niall and classes taking up most of his day, it's been easy trying to forget about the whole Louis situation.
On one hand, Harry has been feeling kind of disappointed because he thought Louis wouldn't give up on him this easily. On the other hand Harry knows he shouldn't count on Louis in any way considering their past and what Louis did to him back then. He doesn't know the person Louis is now, and he certainly isn't planning on getting to know him. Seeing how much Louis has changed and knowing what kind of people he's become friends with, is just another thing to add to his mental list of reasons why not to forgive Louis.
"Earth to Harry?" Niall says waving his left hand in front of Harrys face, his other hand holding a bag of Doritos. They were sitting in the cafe on campus eating lunch together.
"Oh sorry, I didn't realize I zoned out." Harry apologizes with a timid smile.
"It's okay." Niall replies. "So as I was saying, do you wanna hang out some time soon?" He mumbles with his mouth full of food, making his sentence difficult to understand.
"I'm not entirely sure what you just said, but sure." Harry answers chuckling "My last class ends at four so you can just come by then, if you want that is."
"It's a deal. I have to go to biotech now, but I'll see you later." Niall grins as he throws his now empty bag of Doritos out, and starts walking away.
Harry sighs as he grabs his stuff and heads to his next class. Hopefully Louis won't be there when Niall comes over.

On his way to the dorm, Harry suddenly bumps into a hard chest and falls a few steps backwards. Looking up he recognizes the guy known as Zayn.
"Oh, I-I'm sorry." Harry apologizes looking down at his new bright pink converse.
"It's fine, baby. No need to worry." Zayn says. Harry can almost feel the smirk growing on Zayns face.
"B-bye." Harry mumbles and hurries down the pathway that leads to his dorm.
"Wait!" He hears Zayn yell and he turns around to look at him with a questioning look on his face. "Would you like to grab a coffee or something with me some day?" Zayn says with a sweet smile, making Harry grin slightly showing his famous dimples.
Harry would have to admit that Zayn looked kind of hot with that perfectly slicked back raven hair and that beautiful charming smile. Of course not as beautiful as Louis, but Zayn definitely wasn't very far off.
"Sure." Harry replies.
"Great. I'll see you later." Zayn smiles even bigger.
Harry waves awkwardly and turns back around heading to his dorm.
Maybe Zayn wasn't as bad as he thought.
