The next night everyone was in the cafeteria.
Janson: Barry, Walt, Edgar, Samantha
Ingrid: I wanna know what's through that door
Newt: No we've been over this, you said they were covered up so you don't know what you saw, it could have been anything under there
Ingrid: I know exactly what I saw, they were bodies, Aris said they bring in a new batch every night
Winston: Who the hell is Aris
Ingrid: He was in the other Maze with me before the Glade
Ingrid points to Aris.
Janson: Tim
Winston: Oh, I'm sold
Janson: And last but not least David, thank you for your attention, enjoy the rest of your evening
Newt: Okay until we know anything for certain, we should just keep our heads down and try not to draw any attention to ourselves alright
Then Thomas gets up and talks over to the door.
Newt: What is he doing
Frypan: I think he's drawing attention to himself
Guard: Whoa hang on you weren't called
Thomas: I know I'm just gonna be a second
Guard: This is a restricted area kid
Thomas: I just want to see my friend, can you let me through?
Guard: Get your ass back in that chair
Thomas walks away then charges at the Guard.
Thomas: What's your problem man! What the hell huh
Guard: Back off!
The Glader's ran over to Thomas and tried to hold him back.
Thomas: Why won't you let me in there!
Then Janson came in.
Janson: What's happening here! Thomas, I thought we could trust each other, you know we're all on the same team here
Thomas: Are we?
Janson: Get them into their bunks
They got pushed into their room.
Frypan: What the hell was that about
Newt: You don't really think they were just gonna let you through
Thomas: No of course I didn't
Ingrid: Did you get the keycard?
Thomas showed Ingrid the keycard.
Thomas: We're gonna find out what's on the other side of that door
Newt: Right?
Ingrid: Newt they're hiding something, okay these people are not who they say they are
Newt: No Ingrid you don't know that, the only thing that we do know is that they help rescue us from WICKED, they gave us new clothes, they gave us food, they gave us a proper bed, some of us haven't had that in a long time
Thomas: Yeah but-
Newt: Some of us a lot longer than others
Ingrid: Newt
Then Aris came out from under the bed.
Aris: Hey Ingrid
Frypan: What the
Aris: Did you get it?
Ingrid: Yeah Thomas got it
Thomas: Let's go
Ingrid: Alright look maybe you guys are right maybe we're just being paranoid but we gotta find out for sure, just cover for us we'll back as soon as we can
Ingrid and Thomas followed Aris through the vents. Thomas jumps down from the vent first.
Aris: Ingrid you go next
Ingrid jumped down and Thomas catched Ingrid.
Ingrid: Aris jump down
Thomas puts Ingrid down and Aris jumps down. Aris closes the vent. They walk over to the door. Thomas uses the keycard and gets inside. Ingrid turned her face and saw something that was familiar.
Ingrid: Thomas
Thomas: What?
Ingrid: Grievers
Thomas takes Ingrid's hand and they go into a room.
Thomas: What the hell?
They see bodies being strung up. They walk around the room and see that they are being drained. Then Thomas sees someone.
Thomas: Teresa
Aris, Thomas and Ingrid go over to the girl. Thomas moves the hair from her face. Thomas sighs in relief.
Ingrid: Rachel, no it can't be, wait her birthmark
Ingrid moved Rachel's hair to show her birthmark on her neck. Ingrid steps back in shock.
Ingrid: It-It's Rachel
Aris: They took her the first night, I told her it was gonna be okay
Then they hear the door opening and they hide.
Ingrid: Shit
Janson: You sure this can't wait
Worker: She was very specific sir, she wanted to speak with you personally
Janson: If I don't have enough to deal with
Worker: Just bear with me, getting some interference from the storm
Janson: Come on, good enough
Then the screen turned on and Ava appeared on the screen.
Janson: Good evening Doctor Paige, lovely to see you again, alright I admit I-I wasn't expecting to hear from you quite so soon
Ava: Change of plans Janson, I'll be arriving a little sooner than expected, first thing tomorrow
Janson: Oh well, we'll be delighted to have you, I think you'll be pleased with the progress we've made, as you see, early results have been extremely promising, whatever it is you've been doing to them in there, it's working
Ava: Not well enough, I just received board approval, I want all the remaining subjects sedated and prepped for harvest by the time I arrive
Janson: Dr Paige we are going as fast as we can, we are still running tests
Ava: Try something faster until I can guarantee their security this is the best plan
Janson: Ma'am, security is my job, we're on 24 hour lockdown here, I am assuring you the assets are secure
Ava: Have you found the right arm
Janson: Not yet, we track them as far as the mountains
Ava: So they're still out there and they've already hit 2 of our installations
Ingrid and Thomas look at each other in fear.
Ava: They want these kids as badly as we do and I cannot-I cannot afford another loss not now when I am so close to a cure, if you are not up to the task I will find someone who is
Janson: That won't be necessary, might I suggest we start with the most recent arrivals
Ava: Just get it done
Janson starts to walk away but Ava stopped him.
Ava: Janson, I don't want them to feel any pain
Janson: They won't feel a pain
The sceen turns off and Janson walks out of the room and up into the vents.
