It started out as a normal summer. The trees were in full bloom, the sun was searing hot, and my normal group was out for the summer.
My "group" included all the people who i Hung out with on my block. We were a close knit crew for many years. We fought like brothers and sisters. We hated each other.....we fell in love with each other......
In fact, that was the root of our problems.......love.

Jessie POV
"Fine! We'll go to liquor store even though its practically midnight and this is when all the hobos come out!" complained my sister Kristy. Kristy was a year younger than me and she had a weird phobia of hobos....but i have no idea why.
"We don't have to go ya know," i said. Believe me i loved my sister, but sometimes she was WAY too dramatic for me!
"I'll just go 'cuz you guys would probably ditch me and go anyway," she grumbled. She murmured something else indecipherable under her breath that i didn't catch. YOU SEE! She dramatized this whole thing just to say she was going to go!
"Ok.....," Frankie paused because he could feel the tension between me and Kristina growing,
"I'm going to go get Andres and then we'll go!" He ran into is house that was adjacent to ours. Yep. Frankie, Andres, David, and Ana were all our neighbors. He lived right next door to me, my sister Kristy, and my older sister Natalie. Then there was my friend Tessa who lived a couple houses down from us. She was the coolest, but a little moody.
I sat there thinking about why everyone had a crush on Frankie. I personally didn't find him cute at all.....but he was funny. He was a tall lanky Mexican with glasses, darker shade of skin, and his face, in my opinion, looked like a round-tipped box. Natalie, Kristy, and Tessa all thought he was cute. I kind of felt left out.
Frankie and Andres came back out at that moment. My mind snapped back to reality. We had to leave before my parents found out. It was a stretch for them to let us stay out past this time especially since we lived on the bad side of Wilmington. We lived on the other side of the tracks........
"Let's go!" i yelled. I usually took charge when we had stuff to do. What can i say? I'm a natural born leader.
Andres, David, Frankie, Kristy, Natalie, Tessa, and I all set off to the liquor store down the block. Wilmington really isn't as bad as people say it is.....it just depends on who your affiliated with.
"Aye man! Maybe we can score some tacos man!" Frankie mocked in a weird accent. It sounded like a drunk guy at best. Everyone started busting up laughing.
"Yeah! You should go back to the house and make us some," Andres stated casually. Everyone was roaring at this point. I could barley breathe i was laughing so hard! Man these guys were too funny.....especially Andres. Of course, that conceited bastard would never hear me say he's funny, but hey, you can't deny the truth.

Andres POV
She's so perfect. I never knew anyone could be that perfect. Not to mention she's hot as hell! I wish she felt the same way about me...as i do about her. Maybe i can change that though? After all, I'm Andres Reyes.
