Everyone crowded around the screen Jemma was pointing at. I shrugged and moved further back, already knowing what everyone was seeing. I could feel the thrum of magic from the closed circle. Eris probably knew too, and if she didn't yet, she would soon, within minutes.

"What the heck?" Mack said.

"More like a divine type thing," Bobby said casually. "Never seen it like that on a computer screen, though. Hunh." Bobby nodded and walked over to me. "You ready?"

My nose scrunched, and I know I even growled a little. "Why does everyone keep asking me that? You know I can handle this."

"I do know. It doesn't mean you should have to or that it's going to be easy," Bobby continued.

"Not easy, old man. Not easy at all," I murmured. "Is everyone ready? Cause she is going to know any second, and she is gonna be pissed."

A chorus of agreement rang out.

"Make sure not to break the salt line. You break the salt line, and the demons get loose," Dean lectured. "Their power won't be at full strength either, but they will still be stronger than anything you have gone up against."

"We got it," Mack huffed.

Dean rolled his eyes. "Don't say I didn't warn you."

"You all know your positions. Everyone stay in communication and stay safe." I rushed forward and disappeared into the tree line.

"Does she always do that?" Daisy asked, gawking.

Dean, Sam, Bobby, and even Lance started chuckling. I would have all four of these men at my back any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Daisy shook her head and started to follow. Everyone else did after.

Eris and Cyrus were waiting for me on the front step. She started laughing as soon as she saw me.

"Knox. I should have known," she continued to chuckle.

"You should have indeed," I said back as I approached at a slow pace.

"When did you figure it out?" Eris asked.

"Not soon enough, obviously," I replied.

She looked over her property and heard screaming from behind the house.

"What did you do?" Eris hissed.

"Why my dear Eris, I brought the Reaper," I goaded, arms swinging wide.

"What does a goddess of strife and chaos have to fear of a reaper? Are you going to start playing the song or something?" Cyrus scoffed, and his eyes turned black.

Eris was staring at me as I laughed.

"Damn, Eris. What demon of stupidity did you let possess him?" I snorted, hands at my hips and very close to my karambit knives.

"Listen here, you little bitch!" Cyrus seethed, taking a step toward me.

"So, touchy!" I taunted. "But even though I really love that song. That is not what I meant at all. Shall I show him?"

Eris shook her head. "There is no way. You can't be."

"There is always a way, Eris." I winked before touching my karambit knives, and they dropped into my hands. "Congrego!"

"No!" Eris screeched.

My blades spun in my hands and combined to form a double-edged scythe. My features grew more gaunt, making me look more skeletal.

"Don't Fear the Reaper," I said and swung the blade.

Cyrus attacked, but it was a fumbling move and so easy to avoid and counter.
