A man with short stature, at least shorter than all the men present in the little boxing club, strutted in the very back of the building. The whole building smelled of sweat and grime, the floor could use some thorough scrubbing just as much as the people walking on it.
The man is wearing a long grey overcoat, along with a white shirt and cream-colored cravat. His hands are securely stuffed in his coat pockets, and some of the dwellers stopped to look at the man with questioning eyes but he ignored them. When he reached the back of the building, in front of the office of the man who owned the building. He knocked on the door, and soon after opening it.
"Could've waited for me to answer," a man in his sixties, with grey hair and a neatly kept beard answered.
"I'm afraid I'm running low on time right now," the older man's head snapped to meet his ever-cold eyes.
"Levi, my boy! It's been so long since we last saw each other!"
"I'm afraid I'm not here to have a cup of tea and catch up with you,"
The older's man smile dropped and he settled back in his chair, "Know what Toji is up to these days? Ask him to bring little Megumi to the club sometimes,"
"I'll tell him," he pulled out a photo of a girl along with an older male smiling, "Been looking for the Information about (Father's Name) (Last Name)."
"Ah," the older man placed thick glasses on his nose, his scrutinizing eyes observing the photo, "Yes, this boy once used to come here religiously I might add, those were the days when the club belonged to my old man,"
"Anything you know about him?"
"Not much if I'm being honest,"
"Tell me whatever you know," the man stood up the creaks of the chair echoing in the small room, "it's better if we talk about this somewhere open, my physician advised me I should be getting fresh air," the old fella motioned him to follow.
"When are you going to speak?"
"Patience is a virtue, but that is something you've always lacked," He leads Levi to the rooftop, unlocking the rusted door.
"I like being efficient with my time,"
"Course, you do," the old man set himself on the cautioned chair, but the color of the cover is faded, "take a seat,"
Levi sat on a chair opposite him, "Now, tell me what you know,"
"As I said before, that was before I was the owner of the club. The man you want to know about was one if not the most feared boxers in the club. If I say so myself, I was a little jealous of that brat even though I was a decade or so older. One time almost plunged an opponent to death, he was suspended from the club afterward."
"What happened? Where did he go?"
"Well, my old man had a soft spot for that brat, orphan and all. He gave him a second chance."
"Orphan? What happened to his family?"
"Don't know, the man was very secretive. Always kept to himself, no one knew who he exactly was." the older man leaned on his elbows, whispering, "I heard rumors he was part of a mafia lineage, very cruel ones at that. My old man believed them to be just rumors, but I always thought there was some truth mixed in with a bunch of lies,"
"That's all you know?"
"I know he quit boxing after he got a girlfriend and I heard he later married her as well. Perhaps, you should ask her---"
"She is dead,"
"Oh, condolences,"
"The only surviving member of his family is a girl,"
"Ah! I heard he had a daughter, I wonder if she looks like him."
"Right, if that is all you know I should be leaving,"
"Very well, but listen if you ever get tired of your teaching jizz, contact me! I bet you still contain the charisma of a fighter," the older man escorted Levi down.
"No, I'm satisfied with my job,"
"Youths nowadays love retiring before their career even took off, first it was you turning your back and now a lad who is a beast in the ring ran off saying he wanted a better role model for his brother,"
"This club is going to the dogs,"
"Don't wish that on us, lad, we are barely making our living out of this,"
"That is exactly why you do illegal matches."
"A man has a family to feed, doesn't matter where the money is coming from."
"Right, if I'm being honest that is the thinking leading a man to his downfall,"
"Now, street runt like yourself will teach us what is fair? Don't forget, Levi, this is where you were raised. This is the birthplace of Levi Ackerman. Now that you have a fair-paying job, you've come here to lecture us on how to earn our living?" The old man spoke, his voice raising with every word.
"I'm not telling you to do anything," Levi walked to the exit, "if this is how you are planning to restore the glory of this club, go ahead no one's stopping you." A tattoed man passed him by when he exited the club.

"Uh! Sukuna, my boy! You are back,"
The tattoed boy scratched the back of his neck, "I'm not back for you, Old man,"
"Then why are you here?"
"I want money and I heard you wanted to restore the glory of this club," he spoke, "I want to fight in nationals, not the illegal fights that you tricked me to fight for you,"
"I see, might I ask what brought this change of mind?"
"I want to be a good role model for my brother and If I can't do that by doing a pretense of a goody-two-shoes I'll do it by bringing a trophy,"
"I see," the old man's eyes sparkled, "you could've told me that earlier, you silly lad!" the man lead him inside, "we'll start your training right now!"
Sukuna scowled, thinking if this is the right choice. He knew nothing other than fighting, the convenience store job wasn't paying enough as he had to take care of not just his but Yuji's expenses as well now that their mother's old man is no longer with them.
