The droplets of rain continuously pattered the glass windows, making it harder for him to listen to voices outside the door. He can make out the voice of Lucifer. Satan was sitting with his head resting on the plush mattress of the hospital bed occupied was (Name)'s unconscious form. Several tubes were attached to her body, she was breathing but barely.
"He doesn't have anything to do with the accident!"
"The evidence has been provided, he is the one who contacted Miss. (Last name) asking her to come to the rooftop." he can tell it was an officer, "we are only taking him in for questioning, Mr. Lucifer. We have a warrant that specifically asks for his arrest."
The female officer added, "If he doesn't have anything to do with the incident he'll be back in no time."
"Just remember if anything happens to him the whole police department will suffer the consequences."
The officers didn't like it a bit that a boy was threatening them, but they were also aware that he was in power to rattle up the whole police force. "Don't worry, he'll be fine."
The door clicked open, revealing a disheveled Lucifer along with two officers. One of them begins, "You'll be coming with us for questioning."
"Right." he stood up from his seat, and with a last glance at (Name)'s bandaged face he was gone with the officers.

Satoru walked down the hallway, the hospital was not as much crowded. After a few turns he reached his destination, shifting the bouquet to his other hand he opened the door.
It's been a whole week since the incident, (Name) went into a coma due to injuries. He smiled, "Hey, how are you doing?"
No answer.
"that's a stupid question to ask, I know that." he placed the bouquet down. "You are probably thinking why Suguru isn't here, well that's because he went to see his family. I honestly don't like anyone from his family, not because they are not rich enough but because they are a little...weird."
Satoru set down on the chair by her bedside, "I was bringing you some chocolate but I realized you'll not eating any so I ate it all on my way here." he leaned back, "It was delicious, you better wake up if you want some of those." his eyes drawn to her sleeping face, he never saw her look so peaceful before. There was no ounce of emotion on her face...
Satoru realized he liked her when she is displaying all kinds of emotions not this blank look that made her look lifeless.
"You know we were supposed to throw a party for our victory, Beelzebub even listed the food he wanted at the party. The boy does nothing but eat. Not that I blame him or anything, I like eating too."
Satoru fell silent, looking around the room. There were a lot of flower bouquets, he wasn't the only one thinking of bringing one and to add salt to his injury most of them were her favorite flowers.
"You are popular, not that I'm jealous or anything." the door clicked open, revealing a pretty redhead.
"Who are you?"
"you are also visiting our (Name), I'm Makima, (Name)'s cousin." the girl elegantly slid down the chair beside him, her eyes focused on (Name). "It's a shame, someone with such a bright personality laying on this bed looking so dull."
"You were close to (Name)?"
"Very, she is my only cousin after all."
"Right," it seems like everyone, except him, had this intimate bond with (Name). Instead of wallowing in self-pity, Satoru focused on the girl beside him. She didn't look anything like (Name) even if they were supposed to be cousins. "Have we met before?"
"Of course, we did; Back in the autumn festival."
"Oh! Now I remember." he realized why she looked so familiar. "You were the one who purchased a date with me."
"Yes,"
"I see."
Makima stood up, "My time here has ended, I'll be taking my leave."
"Wait, do you not want the date you purchased?"
"Hospital is hardly a place to discuss such intimate details," she took a few steps towards him, pulling out a business card, "Due to the rush on the festival that day, we failed to exchange contact details. Here take my card, contact me whenever you feel like to discuss the matter further." she placed the card in his hand, her lips stretching into a gentle smile.
"Alright."

"The culprit should be behind bars but the police have yet to make any progress in the case..." a very tired Maria with a cup of coffee in her hand and dark circles around her eyes walked around the little study of her residence.
"I'll recommend you to sit down before you fall face first," Ryuzaki murmured, looking just as ragged as Maria or perhaps even more. He was investigating the incident since day one, alone. But a day prior, Maria figured out that as he left his computer turned on around her so now she was helping or rather cussing whoever did that to (Name).Even with all the hard work, they are yet to find any leads on the case. The assassin must have been very skilled and they must have relationship with an insider to have this planned down to every detail.
"I'm fine."
"I can tell by the way you are swaying on your feet, sit down."
"Do you need more coffee, mine is over." She showed him empty mug, Ryuzaki let's out a tired breath. "Fill in mine as well."
"Sure, detective."
