It was the very next day after Axl had gone home. And his and Cole's "chat". Cole had contacted Maverick that morning and said that he would indeed be moving in with him. They decided that this weekend was the best time. He also informed Maverick that he would not be quitting his job but got a transfer to New Jersey plus will now be working in one of his bosses newly released restaurants in the area as front of house manager. Maverick was thrilled for his boyfriend. But he had to inform Lee as this would affect his plans with the adoption process and Axl. He had told Lee that they needed to have a chat. So Lee told him to come after work. They both entered Lee's house at the same time. Lee told Maverick that he could wait for him in the kitchen so that he could change out of his work clothes  and into more comfortable clothes. That's when Maverick started thinking about the past.

Maverick's P.O.V

Flashback:
It was 18 years ago both Lee and myself were still staying with our parents at that stage but we were also hiding a big secret from them. We were both curious about our sexualities. I was bi-curious and he was just curious. So one afternoon 3 days before the "party" we decided to "experiment" on each other. Lee and myself went to his room, luckily none of his family was home. I might just have gotten my best friend kicked out of his house, I will help him with a place to stay as it was my fault as well. I  mean she could have heard us having sex till down the block. Lee really knows how to moan, Fuck! When I got home my mom knew, and I also got kicked out. Luckily I knew Cole who knew of a place me and Lee could crash at until we could get a better place to stay. He then also invited us to a party that he was going to have in 3 days time. Cole and myself had just been flirting for now, but that night it all changed.

"Maverick, I'm done!" Lee said coming down the stairs. I snapped back to the present and remembered why I was there. "Sooo." Lee said. "Well I have some news about Cole and myself to tell you." I said in a shaking voice. "Why do you either sound nervous or scared, Mav?" Lee asked. "Well I am more nervous about your response to the news that is all." I replied. "Well get on with it Chloe will be home in 30 minutes." He tried to encourage me to tell him already. So here goes nothing. "I asked Cole to move in with me and he said yes. I also said that he could give up his job. I would help to look for a job that he loves and is closer. Because I am not letting him go this time, Lee. I love him." I rambled. "Whoa, you did what now?!" Lee asked shocked. "You heard me the first time I am not repeating myself. And he will be moving in this weekend." I said proudly.

Luke's P.O.V

Maveric just bombarded me with a lot of things at once. I never even knew that him and Cole were a thing again? "Ok so why were you scared about telling me again?" I questioned Maverick. "Because of the adoption process with Axl it will affect him as he is going to have to look for another place to stay as they can barely afford the dump that they stay in currently. Cole said they are fine with this month's rent as all the bills are already paid but next month we have to worry. And we need to prepare if they ask questions about Cole, 'he is still staying there' until Axl can make a plan." He said calmly, implying we have to lie about the living situation. I just came to realize what the two of them did to my situation currently, and now I'm wondering what we're going to do for Axl. He can't move to a worse dump due to his friend moving out and leaving him behind. Something will have to be done for Chloe's sake she will be devastated if Axl is not able to adopt her.....

So Maverick and Lee have a sort of a past? And Cole is moving in with Maverick. But this is not good for Axl. What plan are they going to make to save this situation? Let's see......
