Axl knew he had very little time to do everything he needed to set everything up, luckily he had prepared meals at work, that he asked Hart to quickly drop off with Lucian. He had ordered flowers earlier that day for this exact time to be delivered at home. All that was left to do was set up the Spotify playlist and create the perfect ambiance for the evening. Whilst Axl was finishing up Lee was getting very irritated with Maverick at the mall. "Why may I ask do we have to go shopping so urgently?" Lee asked Maverick irritated. "Um, well you need a outfit for Cole and myself's wedding." Maverick said quickly. "Which is when exactly?" Lee asked confused. "And why do we have to get a outfit so urgently?" Lee enquired. "The wedding will be soon, don't worry. That is why we need to get you a outfit. So that we don't have to go too late. I also just want to see about a new hairstyle for the wedding plus it's my treat, ok?" Maverick said nervously. Lee was starting to feel very anxious about all of these 'plans' for the day.

After the whole mall event Lee was ready to just go home and relax, but Maverick made him change into his new outfit before they left the mall. Which Lee found really suspicious. Maverick drove Lee home but before he could get out Maverick blindfolded him and told him to wait in the car. Lee had really enough of these silly games by now. Before Lee could open his car door it was being opened by Axl. "Maverick can we stop with all of this silly stuff. I want to go home and relax. Axl is most probably wondering why I am so late, man!" Lee protested as he was about to try to remove the blindfold. "Don't worry about me, babe I have you and leave that on." Axl said to Lee guiding him out of the car and to the front door. As Lee was about to mouth off about the whole situation Axl whispered in his ear: "Just wait and see. All will be revealed soon." Which made Lee curious about what was happening. Just then Axl said goodbye to Maverick. Once more Maverick tried to find out what this big plan on Axl was. "You will know when you drop the kids off tomorrow. Promise. Thanks for everything. Bye." Axl insisted waving Maverick off to go home.

Axl had quickly made his way back to Lee who was starting to fiddle with his blindfold. "No, no. Don't touch. You have to wait. Won't be long now promise." Axl insisted. As he guided Lee to their garden. "But babe, you know I can't litterly see anything in front of me right now. So can we just stop with all the games and you tell me what is going on. I'm tired already and starving." Lee tried to protest to get Axl to reveal his plan. "No. You can just hold on to me until we reach our destination soon." Axl whispered into Lee's ear, which gave him goosebumps. As Axl reached the table that he had set in their garden, it was surrounded with rose petals. The trees had fairy lights. And on the table was a dozen white roses in a vase, with their meals. The next thing Lee could hear romantic music playing somewhere in the background.

As the music started to play Axl removed Lee's blindfold. Lee was shocked by the beautiful scenery. As he was about to tell Axl how beautiful it was for a 'date night', Axl fell to one knee and opened a little red box. "Lee Haywood, would you make me the happiest man on this earth and marry me?" Axl asked with tears in his eyes. Lee pulled Axl up and kissed him. "Yes." Kiss. "Yes." Kiss. Yes, yes, yes!" Just then Axl slipped the beautiful engagement ring on to Lee's finger. Just then Lee started ranting. "You dummy. So this was part of your plan all along? The mall, the kids, the outfit, the hairstyle, the blindfold, everything? You did all of this just so that you could propose? It's all so much but I love you and our family and this is so wonderful. Here I thought that I would be the one asking you to marry me. But you did it instead. Lee rambled on as he was admiring everything that was done. Axl looked shocked at Lee's ramble but then asked: "So do you like it?" " LIKE? More like LOVE it! You dummy. Why wouldn't I like it? You know exactly what to do to make me happy. I love you so much and our little family. You are my world, my everything." Lee replied giggling. That night the two of them spent in each others arms dancing and making love. And making plans for the future. It was the most beautiful and romantic night in both of their lives. And they wouldn't change it for in the world. "I hope you know how much I love you, Axl." Lee gushed as he was swaying to a beautiful song in Axl's arms.

The next day Axl let Maverick know that they can come over for brunch and bring the kids back home. As Maverick and Cole got there something was off as Lee was not in bed but watching Axl cook for them. "Hi guys, how was last night? Hope Chloe and Noah was not too much trouble." Lee said shyly. "They were both fine thanks, but we think it's the two of you that has news instead, right Axl?" Maverick insinuated. "Oh that, maybe. Or maybe we should just show them, right babe?" Axl said glancing towards Lee. That's when Lee threw his hand toward them and flashed his new engagement ring to everyone. "You're engaged. I fucking knew you were up to something yesterday!" Maverick exegerated. "Congratulations! My dream is finally coming true, Pa!" Chloe screamed happily. "Congratulations, man. I was wondering when you would take the plunge." Cole said tapping Axl on the back. "Congratulations." Noah said shyly. "Thanks to all of you. This would never have happened if Chloe had not found me and told me about her. And Cole deciding to come here with her. All of you made me realize what love is really like, thank you." Axl said grinning but holding back tears of joy.

They were all so excited about the news  so that morning they had a  celebratory brunch to not only celebrate the engagement but the magazine article as Lee was asked to pose for photos again after the birth of the triplets as a follow-up article on the family.

So Axl and Lee are engaged, with a little help from their friends. Lee didn't expect this from Axl.  Everyone now knows that they are officially engaged and happy. Love Axl's special speech at the end. What might happen next with this little family ? Will they just carry on being happy or will something come and try to mess it up?Bye till next time....
