Rhian had gotten a to-go cup of coffee from Luke's Diner when Rory dragged Rhian down to Doose's Market. Adrian followed them because why not?
Lorelai said, "Shopping for school supplies – party."
"You can go home," Rhian told her.
"Yeah, nobody demanded that you come," Rory replied.
Lorelai asked, "Are you kidding? How often do you get to do things like this?"
"Once a year," Adrian told her.
"You're crabby," Lorelai told him. "Anyway, I was thinking, while we're going, we should get some toiler paper and a plunger next."
"Rhian and I'll just do this later," Rory stated, making to leave the market.
"No, I'm teasing," Lorelai said. "Come on, gets that list of yours."
"Okay," Rory said. She took a folded piece of paper out of her pocket. "I need legal pads."
"Got it," Lorelai said.
"Tons of pens," Rory replied.
"Right," Lorelai replied.
"Some #2 pencils, three highlights, an eraser, a staple remover, and a folder," Rory said.
