I'll be waiting until you notice me

CHAPTER 2

Chaeyoung's POV 

I'm now on my way to Kim's residence. Jennie's family is also one of the wealthiest family here in Korea. They also owned multiple of companies and properties here. I'm so glad when Uncle Jaehyun wants to merge our companies. Our business is known as the Park and Kim family help the economy of Korea. Anyways! Jennie also works for their family business but Uncle Jaehyun haven't gave her the company yet. I know Jennie could be a CEO one day, she is a perfectionist and smart. I believe she can make it. 

I'm now currently walking inside their mansion. I saw Aunt Minhee, she walked towards me and hugged me. 

"Good morning Aunt Minhee. I'm here for Jennie. Is she here?" I asked continuously. I saw her sad face which means Jennie already left. 

"She left early Chaeyoung. I'm so sorry for what she did. She's just angry but I know it will end soon. You knew her, she don't hold grudge for a long time." Aunt MInhee comforts me. 

After that I bid goodbye to her and decided to went in their company. I'm glad I bought some breakfast before I went here. I'm now at the parking area, I saw people looking at me and taking pictures of me. I didn't mind them instead I looked coldly and walked inside the building. 

I went inside the elevator and I wait patiently when a lot of employees went inside. After for a few minutes, all of them went out and I was left alone. The elevator stopped when I arrive at Jennie's floor. I walked outside and went on Jennie's office door. I was about to knock when I heard shouting inside. I decided to listen instead of knocking. I heard Jennie's voice begging and the man was shouting at her. It's Uncle Jaehyun.

"Please Dad, don't do this to me! You know how hard I worked to be on my position right now.  I won't disappoint you again Dad, just give one more chance. Please I beg you." Jennie said and I heard Uncle Jaehyun shout.

"No Jennie! How could you do that to Chaeyoung?! How could you slap her just because she liked you?!" Uncle Jaehyun asked. So this is what they're talking about. To what happen yesterday. 

"Because I don't love her Dad! You know that I already love someone else! I only see Chaeyoung as my bestfriend nothing more!" Jennie shouts too. The reason why I felt tears drop on my cheeks. Why does it hurt so much when she told to someone that she don't love me? The shouting continues but I decided to go. 

"You mean that bastard Taehyung?! He's a cheater Jennie! You also knew that! He uses you so he can be more famous! Stop being a stupid! I already made a decision and it's final. If you really want to inherit this company, make right choices Jennie and choosing Chaeyoung will be for your own good." I heard Uncle Jaehyun said and I heard footsteps so I run towards the end of the hallway then pretend I just got here. 

 Uncle Jaehyun saw me and I greeted him. I smiled widely at him. 

"Good morning Uncle Jaehyun. I'm here for Jennie. I bought her some breakfast. "I cheerfully said. 

"She's inside her office. You could go in there. I'm really sorry for what happened yesterday. Jennie was mad and she was out of her mind. Please forgive her." He said pleadingly. 

"I already forgave her Uncle Jaehyun even if you didn't ask. I know Jennie was just mad at me that's why she did that. Don't worry Uncle Jaehyun I'm fine." I said and he smiled at me. He pats my back and left me. 

I knock on Jennie's door and I heard her crying. She told me to come in. She saw me and immediately changes her face to coldness. 

"Why are you here?" She asked while looking at her desktop. 

"Goodmorning to you too Nini. I bought you your favorite breakfast." I said and lift the paper bag on her table. She stood up and walk towards infront of me. She pushed me which became the reason I sat on her chair. 

"This won't work Chaeyoung. Did you know I almost loose my hardwork because of you? Dad lost his trust on me because of you." She said and hold my cheeks with force. I calmly hold her hand but she didn't let go. 

"I'm hurting Jennie. Your nails are piercing my cheeks. Stop it." I said and she scoffed at me then let go of my face.

"Do you think you did not hurt me? I'm more hurt than you Chaeyoung! How could you do this to your bestfriend? Because of your stupid love for me I loose Dad's trust! I should've avoided you before when I saw the signs. I knew it! I'm so stupid!" she said in frustration. 

"You already knew? Then why did you also give mixed signals Jennie? I'm not the only one who give signals. You did too. Remember, when Lisa and Jisoo-unnie got engaged and we played 7 minutes in heaven? Then why did you kissed me?" I asked her calmly and she just smirked at me. 

"I just want to confirm that you love me. I also want to taste your lips. You became a trend when you fuck girls at the university. I didn't know it was true." she said and move closer to me. "I will let you fuck me Chaeyoung for one night you can do what you want if you revoke our arrange marriage." she said in my ears. I know she will use my past to get on me but I won't let her. I pushed her slightly and hold her shoulder with gentle. 

"I don't want to fuck you Jennie. I don't want to do anything sexual with you. I only want you to love me nothing else and I will do anything for you to love me." I said sincerely while I look into her cat eyes. She move away from me and sat back on her chair. 

"You will get nothing from me. Even my attention. So you better stop and change your mind. You can leave if you won't tell anything important." she said and looked back at her desktop.

"I know you feel something to me Jennie. You're just denying it. You can't accept that your bestfriend is inlove with you. Don't worry, I will do everything for you to love me back. Bye Nini! Eat your breakfast I know it's your favorite." I said and blow her a kiss then I left her office. I saw her employees looked at me and I coldly looked at them so they stare away.
