four years ago~

 I've often thought about uprooting my life and moving across the ocean and living in some beautiful city.

there were so many cities to pick so I closed my eyes and randomly picked one. which just so happens to be Sicily Italy.

So I packed up all that I was gonna keep and sold everything else.

I did all I could to obtain citizenship for Italy before taking the huge plunge.

 I had no one left in my family I was all alone so I had no worries about a family or friend thinking this was some mid-life crisis.

I headed off to Sicily Italy and fell in love with the place right off.

it took me a whole two weeks to find myself a place and get settled in. I knew with this whole cultural change things were going to be significantly different and it would take quite a long time probably to get used to it all.

But I was ready for this new journey in life after everything that had happened to me before. the heartache, the pain, and everything from losing loved ones to losing friends that were near and dear to my heart.

I had decided that since I was fully settled I'd go and view some of the places Italy had to offer.

I went to this one tiny island called Wyspa Lampedusa. it wasn't a tourist attraction type of city but had enough to keep the place afloat.

I was standing up to my calves in the beautiful water enjoying the warm breeze. when I felt like I was being watched.

 I looked back and up on the roof of some ancient building and saw a man who looked to be dashing with black hair. I couldn't see his eyes but I could tell he was burning holes right through me.

I gave a soft smile before I walked back onto the shore and slipped my shoes on before leaving.

I had spent a few nights there before I headed back home.
