"Dear God", Haru whispered terrified, more out of habit than any religious obligation.
"Oh I wouldn't bother asking God. You won't get a response", Laito purred in his ear.
"How did you find us? Wait- stupid question. Vampire thing right?" Haru breathed, chuckling dryly without any humor. Laito began pushing him forwards, up the aisle and towards the altar at the front of the church.
"I know everything there is to know about you, and your sister. So you should really stop trying to run away", grinning like a Cheshire cat, Laito turned Haru around and pressed the slightly smaller boy up against the altar and slotting a knee between his legs. Haru was exhausted, both mentally and physically...... but he had strength enough for this.
Quick as a flash, he brought his knee up hard between the vampire's legs. Laito yelped in pain and Haru kicked him away. Haru tried to run. He got halfway down the aisle, when he was frozen in place.
"Ugh, you little bitch. Come here", it was a command that Haru couldn't disobey, no matter how hard he tried to fight it, "I didn't want to resort to this, but it seems you've left me with no choice".
Laito's eyes glowed red, he wasn't smiling anymore. Haru moved against his will, back up the aisle, stopping before the altar again.
"You think that you could escape me? Are you stupid, or are you naive? Maybe you're both. Either way, you're simple-minded, kind of an idiot. I find your innocence appealing, Joker". Laito grabbed Haru's arm and threw him up onto the altar. Tearing the bandages away from it, he nuzzled into the smaller boy's neck, he smelt divine.
Haru meanwhile, was glaring bloody murder at the vampire. Laito, however, just grinned excitedly.
"Are you angry? Your eyes are fascinating. Go ahead. It's cute. You can get even angrier if you want. You can call me names. But no matter how hard you try, you are no match for me", he undid Haru's pants and started sliding them off.
"I am inhuman. You will be forced to submit, and you will be at my mercy, your sister too. She's a pretty little thing, I wonder how she'll look writhing underneath me, begging for me?" Laito nuzzled and licked at soft, warm thighs. They twitched periodically; it seemed like the other boy was fighting Laito's control quite fiercely. Laito smirked, it would all be for naught, he opened his mouth to take a bite......
A sudden burst of pain! White flashed at the edge of his vision and then black......
And Laito was out cold.
Yui stood over the vampire's unconscious form, one of those heavy candelabras in her hand. The affect was instant, Haru was finally able to move again, and he let out a sob of relief.
"Haru! Are you okey? Oh, what am I saying? Of course you're not!", Yui fussed over her brother. Haru managed to pull his pants up again and stand up, leaning heavily on Yui for support.
Glancing down at the unconscious vampire, Haru could see a trail of blood, leaking from his head. Grabbing the bandage that used to be around his neck, Haru quickly tied it around Laito's head. The bandage was dirty, but Haru didn't think vampires got human diseases. When he finished, he got up and drew Yui into a hug.
"We should get out of here", he murmured into her shoulder.
"Agreed, let's go".
They didn't get far... they opened the doors of the church to find Reiji standing there outside, along with Ayato, Kanato and Subaru.
"And here I was thinking you were smarter than the other human. Unfortunate that I've been proven wrong", Reiji brushed past them, looking inside the building and raising one elegant eyebrow.
"Although, I'm actually impressed you managed to bring Laito down", he studied the two humans closely, "Hmm, I wonder if you're actually fully human?"
There was silence. Yui and Haru knew the game was up, so they didn't say anything, though they were both confused as to why Reiji was questioning their humanity. He approached them again.
"Do you want to know why you were sent to us?" the question was a rhetorical one, "You were offered up to us as sacrifices, by the church. To keep us from preying on other humans".
They said nothing. The answer didn't surprise them in the least, neither of them would put it past Father Seiji to do such a thing.
Reiji glanced at his brothers, "Take them back and lock them in their rooms, I'll see to Laito".
With that, Haru was knocked over the head, and knew no more.

Author's notes: I took a lot of creative liberties in this chapter.
Both Haru and Yui being badass in this one. Man I started feeling really uncomfortable there writing the saucier scenes between Laito and Haru. They are not going to end up together, I feel like the interactions they've had have been rather toxic, and I don't do toxic relationships for a main romance.
Please note that I have nothing against the church and Christian people. I know they've been copping a lot of crap lately, but believe it or not, there are actually some really nice Christian people who do nice things and don't judge people on their race, gender and sexuality. So please don't judge people on their religion, there are good people in every religion.
Anyways, please don't crucify me for my opinions. Stay safe!Don't be judgmental.
