Crash!
Leo cursed as the plate he'd been carrying slipped out of his hands. It shattered against the stone floor, sending slices of apples flying.
Of course, no one could really blame him, could they? He'd just heard someone claim to be him.
It was enough that he'd had to patch up the blue clad turtle not once, but twice after he'd torn out his stitches trying to escape, now he was claiming his identity? No way. Leo was getting to the bottom of this.
"Alright mister, time to explain yourself!" Leo whipped aside the curtain separating the med bay from the rest of the lair.
Raph looked over in surprise as Leo walked over to stand at the end of the gurney. The blue clad turtle was still strapped down right where he'd left them the night before.
"Leo! Did you break something?"
"I dropped a plate, but I'm fine. "Leo turned his eyes back to the other blue turtle, "I'm more concerned with our friend here."
"Right, right. Uh, this is—well, she says her name's Leonardo."
There was silence in the room, broken only by the soft creaking of the bed frame as Raph rocked ever so slightly.
So he had heard correctly.
"So do you wanna untie me now? Cause I'm kinda bruised enough as it is." The other blue turtle wiggled her hands against her restraints.
"Hey, quips are my thing, blue." Leo frowned." And no, I'm not untying you just so you can rip out those stitches again ."
He pointed to the bandages wrapped around the turtle's torso." Next time I'll use staples."
"Right. . . Thanks." The blue turtle suddenly went quiet. Their expression blanked as they suddenly seemed lost in their thoughts.
"Ok, so~ imma go clean up that plate and uh, you two have fun chatting!" Raph stood up quickly and scurried out of the room.
There was a brief silence before the other turtle spoke up again.
"The red one—his name is Raph too?"
Leo was taken aback by the sudden soft tone of the mutants voice. He'd expected more hostility considering he'd already threatened her twice on top of zipteing her to a bed.
"Yeah. Raphael's the red one, I think you saw Donnie already—they're purple. And Mikey's the orange one."
Leo grabbed the chair by the cabinet and slid it over to the edge of the bed, turning it so he could lean against the back while still facing the bed bound turtle.
"Same as my brothers. I guess Donnie's theory about parallel universes was true!" The blue turtle let out a dry chuckle that quickly turned into a nasty fit of coughs.
"Speaking of Donnie's—they wanna talk to you about a few things if you feel up to it?"
Leonardo nodded and Leo stood to go find his twin.
