I was running out of breath, my lungs felt dry and empty. We ran through the TARDIS doors and shut the just in time as the plant blew up. I looked through the small window and I couldn't stop the tear that ran down my face. "We could've saved them." I whispered. turning to face the others, I looked at my father before I yelled. "WE COULD HAVE SAVED THEM!" Tears running down my face.

"It was them or us! and I've lost so much, GIVEN UP SO MUCH! WASD I SUPPOSED TO LET THEM KILL YOU! HUH!" His face was angry, dark. he looked from me, to Rory, to Amy, while running a hand through his hair making it a mess. he walked to the console and just leaned against it with his head down. "If you don't like how I run things then get out."

"Doctor-" Amy tried to speak but didn't get far before he shouted again.

"GET OUT! ALL OF YOU!" He flipped the controls and before we new it we were some where else and my dad was pushing us out the doors. Slamming them shut, the TARDIS disappeared.

"He's not just leaving us is he?" Rory asked concerned.

"No, no the Doctor wouldn't just abandon us. Not like this." Amy retorted, panicking with false hope. Oh Amy, you don't know him very well then. I thought.

"Look, we'll wait awhile, and if he's not back in a few hours, I'll take you home in Bob." I try to reason. "He just might need some time to think. Haven't you ever needed that?" I questioned. My responses came in nodded heads of Amy and Rory.

"So what shell we do?" Rory asked looking around. I finally take in our surroundings and see a town a walk away in this heat.

"Over there. We should be able to fine food and shelter." I point out and start walking in that direction, with Amy and Rory following.

Reaching the town we're met with weary looks from the people. I was going to ask one of them what was wrong but it was soon clear. right in front of our eyes, bandits busted out of a bars doors, howling and blasting the sky like this was an old west movie, but with aliens. I moved Rory who in turn moved Amy behind me as we hid behind a corner. Once they were gone, I started to ask questions.

"How long has that been going on?" I asked one of the ladies inside. she was picking up cups with two tentacles as they had been thrown around, and the other two were wiping down the counter and removing shattered pieces of wear.

"those assholes have been raking this town for the past year. destroying crops, and stealing nectar and money. We've tried bargaining, paying them off, anything. but now they'll shoot you if you try to say a word!' the poor lady starts tearing up. "It's how I lost my husband and wife. if I wasn't hiding like they told me too, I'd be dead too. but maybe that would be better then see my loves shot dead before my eyes." Putting down a cup, she takes out a piece of martyrial and wipes her eyes.

"I'm so sorry." Amy says holding the tentacle that had been wiping the counter. Looking at me she asks, "Maybe we can help some how? we can't leave them like this."

"No we can't." I respond.

"Sorry, but am I the only one who realises we have no Doctor?" Rory worriedly asks.

"He left us, and who says we 'need' him?" I reply giving him a pointed look which seems to have shut him up. "hmm... ya know if we had a solar powered net, we could lead them in to a trap?" I think out load.

"We have something like that, we use it for the live stock to keep them away from the fence." the bar lady responds.

"That could work, tie certain pieces together and we've got our selves a net." Amy smugishly brainstorms with us. Smiling at each other for our forming plan I notice Rory eyeing us from the corner of my eye. Ignoring him Amy and I get to work getting the netting put together.
