The day that marked the start of his school year, Harry was up getting ready way before his dad was even aware, they didn't have to be there till 10am, but here he was at 6am. Already showered, stuffing his trunk with more then what's needed. Angus watching sleepily from his pillows with Hedwig sleeping through his nervousness on her little bird pole. Her head tucked into her wing. When he didn't have anything else to do, having packed the night before as well as shoving what he wanted to bring unbeknownst of his fathers watchful eyes -his own eyes floated around his room until they landed on his desk where his blood test paper was. At least a copy he was given to look at whenever he wanted to. Percy had said he could have one, and he was glad he was thought of-Percy also had his own copy in his office, The original stayed at Gringotts for safe keeping.
Walking over he picked it up before he went back to his bed. His eyes landing on the parents part. The names sticking out like massive incomprehensible words-foreign to him. He'd never heard, or seen of them till the test. It was a shock to find that who he thought were his parent, biologically speaking, were in fact not Lily and James Potter. He wondered who his birth parents were like, what they looked like, what their hobbies or jobs were. Everything, he wanted to know everything he could possibly get his hands on. He had never wanted to learn about something of this case someone's so badly before, he had the same passion for Lily and James as well.
Percy, his Dad now, gave him a photo of him and his first adoptive parents. It was a moving picture of them in front of a small house on a street, holding hands with smiles so wide-they were happy, Lily's red hair and green eyes shone marvelously with the sun, and James had glasses high on his nose with his smile showing a more mischievous hint to it. In their arms they held a baby, Harry himself. He guessed he adopted Lily's eyes from how green hers and his were. He didn't know what to think about that-It looked like they loved him, but what did that mean for his birth parents? Did he still have anything from them? Did he inherit any skills? Looks? Then the biggest question-Did they not want him?
His chest constricted as he thought that. Painfully so, and as well as the thought that He was probably right to think such things. His adoptive parents at least loved him enough to practically sacrifice themselves for him...that hurt to though, that they died for him-even when he wasn't even theirs really, he wondered what it would have been like with them...would he have ever met Percy? Would he have had more siblings maybe? Would he have ever met the Dursleys if they were still alive?
Shaking his head, he stopped that train of thought before he followed into a rabbit hole, he then suddenly felt dread for his new magical school. Was he even magical? He had never felt like he was-but then again he's had so many parents and each were magical in their own way. Before he could start to panic about it, Angus was there making cute noises and snuggling into him. The soft fur a distraction from the rough paper he held tightly.
Gently he picked the puffskein up and held it close to him, a smile coming to his face as he relaxed as he came back to his room, to where he was now. He would be fine, he had his Dad. He had Percy Jackson, a god of loyalty and family.
_____
Speaking of said god-he was sleeping peacefully, dreaming of swimming around in a giant ocean of friendly fish as he made a sand castle with his magic-that is until a large weight crashed into his middle making him groan as he opened his eyes to see his son on his stomach grinning malevolently at him. He closed his eyes again as he sighed in defeat. It was a dream worth continuing.
"Daaad!" Harry bemoaned. "Cmon! Wake up, we have a busy day today!" Harry said as he started to shake his father vigorously to wake him up more. His efforts futile as he barely even was able to budge the rock that was his father.
