The first day of school had started-well the beginning of the day anyways-starting with waking up and getting into his newly green themed Hogwarts robes with the other boys in the Slytherin dorms, taking turns showering or using their bathroom to brush up or brush teeth. Draco looked strangely confused in the mornings as his hair was unkept and his pajamas askew. While Blaise looked like he needed to tear something apart at having been woken. Harry himself was up and excited, ready before the rest and quietly enjoying watching the rest stumble around. Then they made the trek back up to the great hall once enough of them were ready-meeting other house mates walking off for breakfast made it easy for them to appear like they knew where to go while in reality they were still a little lost when they had followed a pair of Slytherins to a classroom instead and were then redirected towards the dining hall and finally made it.
"Harry your to excited for someone who stayed up later then even us." Draco commented as he sat at a empty part of the table the rest following suit.
Shrugging he sat beside the blonde. "I'm just excited to learn what I can do. My dad didn't tell me much-he tried to teach me some but he's not very good at explaining it." His eyes searched towards the Dias to see his father having yet to arrive-and neither had the food just yet.
Suddenly he was wrapped up into the debate of pumpkin juice-something he was then ordered to try as he didn't know what it was.
Percy on the other hand had just woken up groggily-what little sleep he was able to grab was between the nightmares he still had that plagued him. Even though he was a god, he seemed to need sleep more then most. So when he did technically sleep as they put it, he was never left alone in those dreams.
Sighing he rubbed his face before he found himself getting dressed in a simple dress shirt in blue, and some jeans leaving the shirt untucked with the top two buttons undone. He didn't even try to fix his hair before throwing on some simple socks and dress shoes. His hand patted his pocket finding that riptide was there, before he headed out of his private rooms close to the Hufflepuff dorms in the basement and hallway away from the Slytherins.
As he was walking he found billowing black capes ahead of him-he could have sworn it was a ghosts or a really big bat. But when he saw the greasy hair he snorted to himself before Snape knew it-Percy was walking beside him.
Snape had tried not to jump-he physically didn't outside but his heart did as he turned to see that the man having appeared from no where grinning at him like a loon. "Jackson." He drawled heavily and warily as he searched for where he had come from-he had popped up like a house elf.
"Snape." Percy nodded a smirk growing steadily on his face. He saw the bewildered look in his eyes-he had vapor travelled next to him-it was as silent as a thought. "Off for breakfast?" He asked.
"Its mandatory for today only." He spoke monotonely as he tried to billow away.
Nodding Percy did understand the disdain of getting up in the mornings-though he wasn't sure if that was what Snape felt either. "Right, I did get that paper as well. We will all be getting our schedules today. Home room, Great Hall. All the same."
Severus raised a brow at the uncommon description of the Great Hall. "Hm." He then walked into the Great Hall with Percy following him while waving over towards the Slytherins. Where he watched as the boy who lived waved back with a bright smile before going back to a debate he seemed to be locked in on.
As they reached the dais where the teachers ate, did the food finally appear before everyone in the Hall. There the Hall only got slightly quieter as many students got busier eating.
Harry watched his father turn his food blue and then stared at his own breakfast with a stare hoping it would turn blue to. Before suddenly it was and he looked to his father with wide eyes. He laughed when his father sent him a wink.
