Chapter 2: What happened

I woke up to my head aching as hell, but I couldn't care less about it because the room seems to be not mine!? I checked my clothes, OmyGod! I am so sure I wore a dress, bakit naka pantulog pair of pajamas na ako? I covered my mouth in disbelief. What the heck happened? I went inside the grab, right? Agad akong tumalon sa higaan at kinuha ang phone sa purse ko na nasa sofa.

"What the heck" It's deadbat

Napa sabunot nalang ako sa buhok out of anxiety. Wala naman akong nafefeel na mahapdi sa ibabang parte ko. So hindi ko pa mabibigyan ng apo mga magulang ko, safe. I roamed my eyes at the room, it has luxurious look and designs. It has TV, Piano, and a mini ref.

I went to the piano, hindi naman siguro masama kung tutugtog ako? I was battling with my own thoughts when I heard a knock on the door. Seconds later it opened. I saw an old lady holding a tray, I immediately went to her and greeted her.

"Hello po, Good morning" I said kahit hindi sure kung anong oras na

"Magandang hapon naman hija, kumusta pakiramdam mo?" she softly asked after malapag sa table yung dala niyang pagkain.

I looked at the clocked, it's 2 pm.

I then looked at her, I miss my grandmother

Nagulat ako nung kinapa niya ang noo ko

"Mabuti't di ka nilagnat ang sexy pa naman ng suot mo kaninang madaling araw" she said which gave me the chance to ask about my cloth

"Ah, ikaw po ba nag bihis saakin?" I asked shyly, she nodded

"Ah ano po name nyo? Kathness po akin pwedeng Kath nalang. Bakit- Paano po ako napunta dito? Anong lugar po? Kaninong kwarto po ba'to?" sunod-sunod kong tanong

She just smiled "Kumain ka muna, hindi ako ang makakasagot sa dalawa mong tanong, pero Nanay Adelita ang pangalan ko"

I looked at the food, Toast with avocadoe and egg, may water and coffee. I don't feel like eating but I feel like it's illegal to say no when she put an effort to cook these.

"Thank you po sa pagkain" I said before I sat to the chair she prepared

She nodded with a smile at nagpaalam na siya na aalis, gusto ko pa sanang itanong nasaan yung damit ko pero nakakahiya na. I finished everything up except for coffee, I'm not a coffee drinker. I burped and I felt a lot better. Maya-maya pa may kumatok nanaman, I thought it was Nanay Adelita again but no. Bigla akong na conscious sa mukha ko.

Lord, ang gwapo naman nito!?

He fake a cough

"Hi, anong name mo" I said, wala bhie dikaya magpakipot kung ganito naman kapogi

"Hi, here's your dress from last night, washed and ironed"

Gusto ko sanang sabihin na wala na akong pake sa damit nayan, yung name mo nalang

"Oh thank you"

Lord, ang pogi niya talaga, mabango pa, matangkad pa!

"Uhm- if you don't mind, may I ask bakit ako napunta dito? I can only remember I booked a grab, where you the grab driver?" araw-araw na ako mag ggrab kung ganto kapogi ang driver

"Do I look like a grab driver to you?" he asked back

Gusto kong sagutin na hindi kasi you look like my boyfriend

"Gwapo mo namang grab driver" I said and drank the remaining water left in the glass

He looked surprised at my answer, but he kept his cool and headed to his mini fridge. I watched him get some bottled water and opened it and walked towards me and gave the bottle. I looked up to him, ganda ng singkit niyang mata. I stared at him for too long because he put the water on my glass. Tumayo ako at lumayo ng kaunti, kumunot ang noo niya.

"I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable" he said

"Hindi ah, jan ka lang baka kasi maamoy mo hininga ko, wala pa akong toothbrush" agad na sabi ko

Umawang konti ang labi niya

"But seriously though, how did I get here" I asked crossing my arms

He sighed

"You got into my car, told me the address and then you fell asleep" paliwannag niya

"On my defense, I thought grab kita, tsaka I told you naman pala my address bat dinala mo pa ako dito?"

"I went to the address and waited for you wake up but to no avail"

I gasped but immediately covered my mouth

"Ba't di mo ko ginising?"

"I did"

"May nangyari ba saatin?"

Naibuga niya yung tubig na iniinom niya.

"What the hell?"

I laughed. Sarap naman nitong tuksuhin

"Para namang hindi adult, kahit kiss?"

"Stop, please" namumula na yung gilid ng tenga niya, I can see it because he's maputi

"Ganda ko kaya, bet nga ko nung Xavier bayun kagabi panay dikit ba naman touchy masyado bantot ugali pag ganyan" I said. I waited for his response but none. I looked at him, he's looking at me, I got conscious baka ano isipin niya

"Pero iniwasan ko siya ah, walang nangyari"

Hindi parin siya kumikibo

"Anw, can I ask for a toothbrush and an iPhone charger?" I shamelessly asked, he nodded, tumayo ito and went out

I checked myself in the mirror, maganda parin naman ako wala lang talaga toothbrush

Maya-maya pa bumukas ang pinto at pumasok si Nanay Adelita may dala-dalang paper bags.

"Nabusog ka ba hija?"

"Yes po, thank you po"

She nodded

"Oh siya dala ko yung pangligo at pangsipilyo pati mga gamit at damit na binili ng alaga ko, kung may kailangan ka pa, nasa sala lang ako"

I said thank you and charged my phone before I headed to the shower. Ang dami nilang binili lahat yata ng klase ng shampoo at sabon binili, pati pads meron with and without wings. Pati damit, gusto yata dito na ako tumira ng ilang araw. Pinili ko nalang suotin yung white top and black skort from a brand. May tsinelas at sandals pa. Nang matapos ay chineck ko ang cellphone ko, I saw some messages from my friends asking how I am, I replied I'm fine and proceeded to fix my face and hair. Habang nag iisip ako kung anong sasabihin ko paglabas bigla namang tumunog yung cellphone ko dahil may tumawag. It was my mom. Nang matapos ang tawag agad akong lumabas, Nakita kong nasa sofa yung lalaki and I think he's asleep. Hinanap ko nalang si Nanay para magpaalam.

"Hindi na po, thank you po talaga ng marami at pasensya na po sa abala" I said in low voice refusing to wake the guy. Nagpumilit pa siya dahil baka daw maling sasakyan nanaman masakyan ko.

"Hingin ko nalang po number niyo tapos t-text kita if nakarating na ako" I said to reassure her, she seemed convinced, sinulat niya yung number at binigay saakin. Nag bilin din ako ng note saying "thank you" bago tuluyang umalis.
