"Prelim exam bayun or board exam? Kaasar ang hirap" Ceresse complained after we arrived at the cafeteria
"Do, bakit pa ba kasi tayo nag face to face"
"Basta me nag no face-to-face exam sa survey, di ba Kath?"
I nodded at Yuree dahil sabay kaming nag answer sa survey. Transitioning from online to face to face is exhausting. Nasanay ka ba naman ng ilang taon nag online class.
"Wala bang ganap sa school after nito? Give us some time to breathe naman!" I exhaled after dropping m head on the table
"Meron daw SBG week" Cerresse responded
My friends proceeded to talk about the event. I just closed my eyes not minding the noise in the caf because I felt tired and sleepy. This major exam really drained me mentally.
"Kathness?" I heard Leila's voice and felt her gentle tapping my head
I lifted my head, looking so sleepy because I really am
"Omg sorry I woke you up, tanungin lang sana namin if magkain ka dito or mag uwi na" she added
I smiled "It's fine, magkain kayo?"
They shook their heads in unison "Hindi daw bet ni Resse yung pagkain dito, sa mall nalang daw" Leila answered
"Okay ka lang ba? Mukha kang may sakit" Cerresse then touched my forehead with her palm
"I'm okay, kulang lang ng tulog" I answered
"Ikaw ba naman mag accounting, tingnan natin kong makakatulog ka ng maayos" Yuree blurted out which we laughed at after kasi tama naman.
We ended up eating at Savory's restaurant at isa isa kaming hinatid ng sundo ni Cerresse after naming kumain. I said thank you nung makababa na ako and greeted the guards bago pumasok and took the elevator. I took a quick shower after I got into my unit and fell asleep. I woke up to a series of missed calls and messages from my classmates. I responded to each of them and told them I just woke up.
Apparently, our section agreed to join the after-exam party organized by the other sections. The party started at 8 in the evening and it's 9:30 already. I decided to go kasi hello? Deserve ko namang magsaya. I just washed my face since naligo naman na ako kanina. I wore an above the knee sleeveless bodycon midi dress. Curled my hair and applied light make up and booked a grab.
"Buti nagising ka pa madam?" bungad agad ni Romel ng makarating ako sa couch and table ng section namin. He then handed me a shot glass full of mojito. I greeted everybody in the couch and sat next to my friends.
I rolled my eyes "Baka kasi di ma kompleto gabi mo pag hindi ako nakita eh" I said which he responded with nasusuka face
"Ew, kadiri di tayo talo, nakikita mo ba yung table nayun? Yun ang nais ko mismam hindi kipay mo" tinuro niya yung table kung saan may mga grupo ng lalaki na nagtatawanan
I laughed and roamed my eyes at the place. It's spacious, may stage sa front where the band are playing. At the right-side corner is a beer pong station. The left side is an island bar station. Leila and Cerresse had to leave since it's 11 na and they got curfew.
"Wag maglasing masyado, Ingat kayo" bilin ni Resse to which I nodded.
Romel kept on giving us glass of mojito's while we we're talking. Some of our classmates are already drunk pero siya parang hindi man lang nakainom, nandadaya yata to. Hanggang sa naubusan na kami ng iniinom. Romel then decided that we should play beer pong. Kinaladkad niya pa kami ng iba pa naming kaklase. Pagdating namin doon, may mga nag lalaro na hindi ko kilala, probably from other sections. Romel being the social butterfly, he reached out first, until we were introduced to each of everyone and then everything just happened. I am now with Kate from other section at the other side of the beer pong table because we are team of two.
The place is already loud dagdagan mo pa nung mga sigawan nung mga taong nasa palibot namin ngayon, cheering. At first, I thought, playing this game would be easy since I play table tennis but unfortunately, Kate doesn't know how to shoot the ball, so we keep on drinking the cup until we lost, and I felt dizzy but it was so fun! The drinking session went on and on until nagkayayaan na sumayaw. We danced until sweats were streaming on our bodies. After we got tired, we headed back to the couch and started drinking again.
"Hi" I turned to see the touchy guy kanina sa dance floor "Xavier" he added
I checked our table and all of them were talking to someone, so I got no choice but to say "Hello"
He then moves a little closer towards me. There are guys talaga na ganto ang ugali. Insensitive masyado na uncomfy yung tao. Gusto ko lang naman mag rest but I was left with no choice but to leave that couch. I said some excuses to him and went straight to where Romel is. This gay is drunk na kahit sino nalang inaapir, he then handed me a shot of vodka which cooked my throat omyGod! Kasalanan to nung Xavier creep guy! I drank 5 shots of it, and I feel like the world is moving. Nang makita kong wala na sa couch yung guy, I went back and rested for a while. I drank the unopened bottled water that's on the table. After a while, I decided to book a grab because I felt tired and sticky.
When kuya grab texted me saying he's outside I tried my very best to walk straight while holding unto my head because God I swear the world is swirling. I immediately went inside the grab that's waiting in front.
"Good morning Manong, sa Avida Claveria po" I said and then I closed my eyes and rested my head.
"What the hell" I heard manong driver cursed, I didn't mind because I'm too weak right now to argue.
