"I'm so sorry Carina I should've never suggested you call her." Mason said rubbing Carina's back as she laid her head on her legs while they both waited for Elias.
"It's okay, you could've known what my mother would say." Carina said sitting in silence until their front door opened and Elias rushed to her room and opened the door.
"Awnnn come here bug." He opened his arms looking at her tear stained face and she stood up on top of the bed before he picked her up and she locked her legs around his body and he rubbed her back soothing her.
Mason exited the room head nodding Elias.
"What's the matter love? Talk to me." He sat down while she still was locked on him "Jade come on, lift your head up look at me." He tried to get her to look at him and she waited a few seconds before lifting her head up.
"She told me, I was a disgrace. She wish she never would've sent me off so far so I could be a w-whore." Carina repeated her words "Who told you that?" Elias said seriously, he didn't take disrespect regarding his baby lightly.
"My momma." She said her voice cracking before she let a tear slip out again. This is why Carina really didn't like crying because one she started she didn't stop.
"Why would she call you that? Give me the phone I'll call her back I got some words."
"Because I'm.... Im pregnant."
It was a few minutes of silence while carinas head stayed dropped as she waited for Elias to say something. It made her cry a little more because she thought he wasn't happy about it.
A finger lifted her chin "Carina... say that again?" He mumbled a little shocked "I'm pregnant Elias." She said seriously.
"You having my baby? For real?" He asked and she nodded her head slowly "Your not happy? I knew you wouldn't be I—" She got cut off by a quick kiss.
"Happy? Of course I'm not happy... I'm fucking excited! You having my fucking baby bro let's goooo!!" Elias hopped up making sure she was coo before hopping around the room all excited.
It made Carina a little bit happier that he was happy and smiling and acting like a true dad "You know what when I was outside a week ago I was doing a dad pose." Elias said tapping his foot.
"Shut up." Carina laughed "No I'm serious even Ben said sumn bout it love." He said kneeling down.
"I could've sworn we was popping plan b's though."
"That's what I said!" Carina pointed out before sighing "You wanna keep it?" Elias asked and Carina nodded her head immediately "It's our baby, my first child I'm not gonna get rid of it it's just all so surreal." She explained.
"I'm sorry if this messing up yo plans Carina." He apologized sincerely "No it's okay Elias, the only downside is I'm gonna be pregnant and big, I'm fine." She said chuckling a little.
"So why'd you call your mom?"
"Because I wanted her to be happy for me and tell me what to do give advice or something, but she cussed me out and told me not to call her anymore." She said frowning "Why would she say that..?" He asked her.
