Chapter 8/Bowling Alley Shenanigans 🎳

I'm still in utter shock walking home from school since Peter Wickham asked me out on a date, and also we swapped numbers which means something! I'm smiling to myself thinking about my future. I'm lost in thought when I received a text message. I unlocked my iPhone and that's when I see his name across my screen.
(Text Messages)
Peter:Hey Anne Marie it's Peter how are you?
Me:Hey Peter I'm pretty good how about you?
Peter:I'm good as well. I'm so happy that we are both texting :)
Me:Me too :)
Peter:Well I better get going I'll text you informing you about our date.
Me:Sounds lovely 😊

I put my iPhone back in my Jane Austen book bag and make my way home. But why would Peter even ask me out on a date? I have no clue! I pay attention to the wonderful leaves of fall.

It's really frustrating when your the most popular girl in school and everyone wants to literally date you. I loathe it so much. I just wish that I was my brother Mr. Fitzwilliam because I'll be loathed and very invisible which sounds amazing.

Yes, I understand my brother can seem very unpleasing but I really love him I wouldn't trade him for anyone else. Cedric is very antisocial so he prefers staying inside with his books lost in his own thoughts. I'm the only one who truly knows my brother but if you're reading this you don't know the true Mr.Fitzwilliam till' you found out in this story.

Class ended a while ago and I'm still gazing into my locker thinking about what textbooks I need for homework tonight. I put math, science, and history in my book bag, then make my way towards my brothers classroom with a simple smile on my face. I open the door to learn that it's unlocked that's when I see my big brother sitting on his desk chair grading papers. When Cedric sees my face he smiles.
"Georgina I thought you were already at home?" I shake my head.
""I just wanted to visit with my brother. Is that such a wrong thing?" He shakes his head.
"Georgina did I tell you about this online website called meetmybookmatch.com?" I shake my head why would my brother even do such a thing anyways?
"I haven't heard of it big brother what exactly is it?"
"Tobias thinks that I'm very lonely that I should talk to someone other than him. So he suggested me to sign up for this website called meetmybookmatch, where bookworms discuss literature with the person that I got matched with." I look at Cedric and he's smiling," I matched with loverofliterature1234. I haven't been so happy in the longest time, I find so much enjoyment in messaging her." Cedric hasn't looked this happy in the longest time, his heart shattered when his longest relationship ended in heartache when she cheated on him with someone else. So I'm truly happy for him, yes he's dislikable at times and glares at basically everyone because he feels uncomfortable in the public eye.
"I'm happy for you Cedric you deserve the most happiness." I walk up to my brother and give him the biggest hug he's been asking for. He gives into the hug and I back away from him stating.
"I'll meet you at home. Don't be up late grading papers."
"I won't Georgina see you then."
I leave my brothers classroom heading out of the entrance of North Ridge High School.

I finally made it home the place where I love being myself. Reading my books, and imaging living in a fairytale. I open the front door and make my way towards my bedroom where I have homework for most of my classes. I also really want to message Literature_guy1776 as well.  So I take out my laptop and login to Meetmybookmatch.com where there is a message awaiting for me.

I log out of meetmybookmatch.com my whole face feels so flushed from talking to literature_guy1776. There's something special about him, unlike Mr.Fitzwilliam he's a awful dreadful human being. I begin working on my homework for English Literature that's when I receive a text message.
Peter:Hey Anne Marie :) what are you doing?
Me:What do you think Peter? Homework.
Peter:Seriously Anne Marie homework on a school night why would you do such a thing?
His he actually serious? What are you supposed to be doing anyways?
Me:Yeah that's what I'm doing. Do you have any plans?
Peter:My buddies and I are bowling at the alley would you like to come on by?
This is seriously shocking me so bad I Anne Marie Elizabeth Lane got invited to hang out with the most popular boy in school.

What I most love is the end of the day when I can finally go home and relax while reading one of my current reads in the comfort of my home. It's around 6pm when I head home from North Ridge High School I typically prefer to grade papers at school then I can just head home and not worry about it. I walk to the destination to the staff parking lot to my vehicle, when I see my car I put all of my belongings in the back seat. I open the driver side door while starting the ignition then I depart on my way home.
