(Jane Bingley POV)
December:Tuesday
I have a massive crush on my brothers best friend Cedric Fitzwilliam, he's beyond dreamy. You could say that we are somewhat close. I've always spent quality time with Tobias and Cedric, yes I was very popular throughout high school and I still am today.
But I could never forget about Cedric's gorgeous smile and how the way he looks at me. We're somewhat friends, but I wished we were more than that. But it will never happen, since Cedric doesn't know how to trust since his last relationship crumbled before our eyes. I cannot believe that Marianne would treat him so poorly like utter scum. Whomever he ends up with she's one lucky girl, because I would love to be his.
I'm lost in thought when Tobias walks into my apartment, his red hair is flowing absolutely everywhere. I'm sitting on the couch rewatching The Notebook for the millionth time.
"Really Jane? You're watching this trash again? It's absolute garbage!" He shakes his head in disappointment. If you must know something about my brother is that he loathes romance movies, he adores action movies. Also, he really likes history documentaries as well.
"I don't care what you think of me Tobias. You can leave if you want the door is over there." I state rudely. He shakes his head then states,"No it's fine Jane I'll just stay I'll text Cedric to come over." When he says his name my heart begins to literally beat a million miles per second. What could I say? I have a crush! When I hear someone opening the door I already know it's him.
I turn around to see his appearance he looks very exhausted from the long hours at work. His hair is absolutely everywhere, and he finds the seat right next to me on the couch.
"Why are you watching the Notebook again Jane? I thought you already watched it hundreds of times." Cedric states in a monotone voice.
"Seriously Cedric? My brother and now you? Why can't y'all understand this is my favorite romance movie. My home my rules do you understand that boys?" They nod their head to scared to say another word. I aim my eyes to look over at Cedric he's one handsome studmuffin, I've always thought so. I look away from Cedric and pay special attention to The Notebook.
When the movie finally ends Tobias stands up and walks towards my kitchen to inspect in my refrigerator. Cedric is just having his eyes wander.
"Cedric?" When I saw his name he somewhat smiles then I continue." How is work going for you? Is any of your students troublemakers?" When I make that statement he laughs shyly to himself and nods.
"Work is going pretty good Jane, there's only one person that causes me issues. Did I tell you about one of my students Anne Marie?" I shake my head.
"Well Anne Marie always gets on my nerves. She arrives late to my classes most of the time, and also she has a huge attitude which I cannot tolerate." Why is he telling me this?
"If she's such a pain why can't you just get rid of her permanently Cedric?"
"Why would I do such a thing Jane? She's my best student that I have but I just don't like her because she's so confident in her own body which scares me. She loathes me and I loathe her." How could anyone loathe Cedric Fitzwilliam?
"I don't understand how she can loathe you of all of the people in this world." I state to him.
Cedric laughs which is an amazing sight to see," Well Anne Marie loathes me that's all you need to understand." Just like that the conversation about Cedric's troublemaker student Anne Marie diminished in my thoughts.
I've always been a hopeless romantic hoping for one day my prince to sweep me off of my feet. I hope it's Cedric, but who knows? Do you know something? That are true love can be standing before our nose and we don't even know it. I stop my daydream and return to sitting on my couch right next to Cedric, my brothers best friend and also my crush.
The daylight finally dissolves into the nighttime when we should call off our movie watching.
"Thank you sis for inviting me over. Even if I don't like romance movies, I'm only just a government teacher." Tobias says with a laugh.
"I second that as well Jane, I needed to clear my thoughts." Cedric states in a melancholy monotone voice. I rush to Cedric to wrap my arms around him in a hug, only intended for him.
"Thank you Jane you don't know how much I needed that hug it felt so wonderful."
"Anytime Cedric you know where to find me." I state with love in my tone.
Tobias leaves my apartment along with my crush Cedric Fitzwilliam. I wish that I could be his.
