Leonardo stood at his "father's" door.
Splinter opened his eyes after he sensed one of his "children's" presence, getting up and signaling for his eldest son to come in.

"My son, what troubles you?" Splinter questioned.

Leonardo walked over to Yoshi and explained the problem brought upon them,

"Well, Mikey told me that Donnie hasn't been getting enough sleep so I thought it would be best to tell you."

"I see." Splinter said, stroking his beard.
"What is the reason for this?"

"Mikey said that Donatello hasn't been sleeping because he won't stop working on projects and I guess it's gotten out of hand- is there anything we can do?" Leo asked Splinter.

"I shall have a word with him," The rat confirmed "You may leave."

Leonardo nodded and walked out, as soon as he got back to the main room Michangelo was already there waiting for him.

"What did you tell him?" Mikey seemed eager to know.

"I just told him about donatello's problem, he said he'll sort it out so you don't have to worry Mikey." Leonardo told his little brother. "Anyway, I'm off to watch space heros okay?"

Michelangelo had plenty to worry about, what would Splinter's reaction be? To be honest he didn't actually know if it would be a neutral reaction or a negative one. He thought that Splinter would either be mad about how his brother wasn't sleeping or he would just be glad that Don was working on projects. Mikey could only wait to find out.

For now he just had to ignore the fact that his older brother snitched on one of his other siblings. To distract himself he listened to music.

A few hours had passed, at first Mikey thought that Splinter wasn't actually going to talk to Donnie at all but he was soon proven wrong as for his "dad" was now making his way over to Donnatello's lab.

The turtle in purple worked away, making sure that his project was safe and that it wouldn't have any imperfections. He heard someone enter his working space, he thought it would have been one of his brothers, most likely Mikey to try cause a conversation or to just to annoy one of his older brothers out of boredom.

Donatello had found he was wrong when instead a familiar tall mutant rat walked over to him, back straight and posture fixed. It was as if Splinter had been trained to stay looking smart for his whole life.

Donnie put down his working supplies and waited for the reason on why sensei had decided on a, usally rare, visit.

"Donatello?" Splinter called out, "How is your work coming along?"

"I'll just need a few more hours to finish this project but on the positive side I did manage to fix some equipment the other day, Sensei." Donatello replied.

"Usally I would have been impressed of your actions," Splinter said "but I have heard from one of your brothers that you have not been getting enough sleep."

The statement made Donatello's stomach drop after he realised what his father figure had just told him. Had Mikey told him? That didn't exactly seem like something his little brother would do, escpesially since the two hadn't had any arguments about anything lately. There was a slight possibility that it had just slipped out of Mikey's mouth by accident but how would Splinter have heard if he was always in his room meditating? Mikey wasn't usally a snitch so Donnie would just have to try and ask who did it.
Donatello tried to hide his suprised, guilty expression.

"Uhm, no actually, I have been getting the right amount of sleep sensei." The turtle lied.

"I do not believe you." Splinter told the teenager opposite him.
