"Why are you always paying for her?!"
Tea yelled to Atem who remained unfazed along with Kurami.
"Here's a better question, why do you keep meddling on our dates?"
"You know why and plus we're friends, we look out for each other!"
"If this is friends then I would hate to be a family to her'
Kurami said lowly to Atem causing him to smirk as Tea growl in annoyance.
"You've rejected me and for what? What if she doesn't want to go to the afterlife? You're wasting your time on her?"
She said heatedly.
"That is not for you to decide my fate"
Kurami said annoyed.
"I wasn't talking to you!"
Tea yelled angrily. Atem pinched the bridge of his nose in annoyance as Tea was causing a scene once again at another Restaurant. People were starting to stare but that still didn't stop Tea from rambling. Atem sadly looked to Kurami ignoring Téa's outburst.
"I'm very sorry my love, that you have to deal with this constant unacceptable behavior"
He said to her. Kurami smiled as she gently placed her hand on his cheek looking to him lovingly.
"No worries, it's just the price I have to pay for being with someone who's amazing"
She said causing Atem to smile.
"Are you even listening to me?!"
Tea yelled angrily at the couple ignoring her. The waiter soon walked up to the table.
"I'm sorry but this can not continue, you either lower your voices our I'm going to have to call the police for disturbing the peace"
The waiter said. Tea pouted as she looked to Atem.
"Well what's your choice?"
She asked. Atem looked to his Queen.
"What do you say my Queen? Should we call it a night?"
He asked. Kurami smiled as she nodded. Atem looked to the waiter.
"We'll be leaving"
He said as he stood up taking her hand with his. Tea scoffs as she followed after the couple.
"This is what happens when you don't listen to me. So where are we going to now?"
She asked. Kurami rolled her eyes as she looked to her boyfriend. Atem looked to her before smirking as he took out his phone to call Joey.
"Hey"
"Yo, Atem what's up?"
"Trying to have a date"
He stated simply as he wrapped his arm around Kurami's waist.
"Oh, is Tea there?"
He asked.
"Yup"
He said simply looking to Tea who was flipping her hair and double checking her make up.
"I'll come get her, where are you guys?"
He asked.
"At the park"
He stated as he pulled Kurami along as they walked slowly to the park with Tea following along.
"Alright I'll be there"
"Thank you?"
He said as he hanged up the phone. Kurami smiled at him as she knew her Pharoah called in reinforcement.
"Let's look out to the water"
She said as they walked down a trail and on to an arch bridge. Tea made her way to the bench that was on the bridge as she took off her heals that were hurting her.
"Ouch, these are a pain. This is the worst date I've ever been in"
She said out loud but sadly look to see Atem and Kurami snuggling close together looking towards the water below the bridge. A moment later the sound of footsteps were heard alerting the attention of the three. Atem smiled in relief as he saw Joey approaching.
"Hey you guys, beautiful night right?"
He said to the couple who nodded in agreement. Tea looked to Joey in surprise.
"Joey just what are you doing here?"
"I can ask you the same thing"
"Well I was out with Atem and Kurami, they invited me"
She said. Kurami raised an eyebrow as she fully turn to face Joey and Tea.
"As a matter of fact, you invited yourself, don't get it twisted, Gardener"
Tea scoffs before looking to Joey, Atem and Kurami.
"Oh I see how it is, you called Joey to get me, is that right?"
Tea asked angrily to the couple.
"The most smartest thing you said all day"
Kurami said with a smirk causing Tea to growl.
"Oh yeah"
She said standing up.
"And that's my cue"
Joey said as he grabbed Tea and dragged her out of the park to leave the couple alone. Atem let out a sigh of relief.
"I'm glad that's over with"
He said in relief. Kurami smiled as she linked her hand with his making their way down the trail.
"You know, we still haven't gotten a chance to eat dinner"
He said causing Kurami to giggle.
"Alright, I can eat too but where should we go, I highly doubt the restaurant will let us back in after what happen"
"No worries my love, I know a place"
He said with a wink.
*Burger World*
"Nothing beats the classic"
She said taking a bite of her burger.
"Ditto"
Atem said with a smile as he ate some of his fries. Kurami took a sip of her drink clearing up her throat as she looked to her boyfriend.
"My Pharoah, I have something I been wanting to tell you in private for only your ears to hear"
Atem cleaned up his hand as he grabbed her hand in his, letting her know he has her attention. Atem smiled at her looking unto her eyes.
"I'm always listening"
Kurami blushed as she took a deep breathe trying to calm herself.
"I've been thinking about heading back to the afterlife with you"
Atem's eyes open wide in surprise.
"Are you certain my love? I mean we don't need to rush"
"No but I am ready for to spend eternity with you"
Atem felt his heart about to burst with happiness at the words.
"Are you saying that you..."
But Kurami cut him off placing a fry in his mouth.
"I'm saying I love you"
She said with a giggle as Atem ate the fry and immediately got up from his seat pulling Kurami along as he embraced her in a big hug before kissing her passionately on the lips. They soon pulled away panting from the lack of oxygen.
"I love you too"
Atem said placing his head against hers as he continued to look into her eyes.
