"yep" we got up and checked on cub "is he okay?" "yea he's alive we just have to wait for him to wake up " he sat down next to cub and I left to go tell my mum I got scar

"we're back mum" she had made food while I was gone "okay I have dinner here you can take it up to your room "

I grabbed two plates and mum brought one for cub in case he woke up once I was up there I handed scar his plate and my mum put cubs on my bedside table we ate in silence

til we saw cub start to sit up "cub you okay " his eyes were blue and he seemed annoyed "grian that's not cub " "what?" scar got up so I followed with him

"he's under control by one of my parents that's why he hurt you " okay that makes more sense "how do we help him ?"

scar shrugged I went to hold down cub with my magic but I couldn't there was something interfering "my powers aren't working something is messing with them "

scar seemed worried cub got up "are you able to find what's doing it " there was a faint aura "scar what's that necklace ?"

he took it off "I got it from cub as a kid got it from my house "he handed it to me and it burnt my hand "shit "

I dropped it he caught it before it hit the floor cub charged at us we moved "scar you need to get it on cub " he nodded cub came after me

"oh my I didn't know scar and cub made friends with lord xelqua himself " frick scar looked at me confused

scar pov

I heard cub or one of my parents refer to grian as xelqua but I thought xelqua was a watcher that's what I was told and they were soulmates wait that's the aura grians a watcher and my soulmate

"oh my void " grian seemed nervous "heh and to think that it took three vexs to get him knocked out you're much weaker than they say "

I was too focused on the fact that me and grian are soulmates and he is a fricking watcher did he know we are bound he must have or else the first time

 I saw a watcher they wouldn't have known then cub looked at me

 "oh did you not tell scar oh my, scar did you know that xelqua has killed thousands of people and the best part is it was just for fun "

 grian actually did that grian then looked at me then Cub I got closer to Cub and quickly put the necklace onto him then my father was gone "W-what happened "

 I hugged Cub " everything okay now "he sighed "Oh my necklace scar you need to hold onto this "he went to take it off "It stopped father from controlling you "

 he seemed to realise "Oh okay well ill be fine then here " he gave it back to me "Anyway I need to get home or my parents are going to kill me bye guys talk to you at school "

 he quickly left it was now just me and grian "So your a watcher " he nodded "and my soulmate " he was surprised "How did you know ?"

 "When I almost died the watcher that saved me told me but I obviously didn't know that you were xelqua" he looked like he was about to cry 

"so do you hate me now that you know "I felt bad for him "No of course not I love you " he smiled then hugged me "I love you too "

well that's it I guess everyone's happy and all loose ends have been tied grian and scar got together when they went back to school everything was amazing

 grian told mumbo and mumbo was very protective of grian but everyone was happy for them after a while mumbo told grian and scar 

that him and Cub had gotten together and had been together for a while which surprised scar and grian, so its the end a close to this story everything is perfect and scars parents have been put into prison and won't be getting out anytime soon 

'wait you think you could forget me no no no I have a plan and nothing is going to stop me bye-bye '
