I knew this was a bad idea.

"Atlas, i dont know who you are or what the hell you're trying to do. But I'm not entertaining this idea. At. All." I whisper shouted at him.

We are standing right in front of an ice-cream shop and he had the audacity to snatch a bobby-pin from my hair to open the door and break into the store.

He left me with no answer, a few minutes later the door opened and went in.

I didn't move simply because I didn't want to get in trouble for breaking in.

"What are you waiting for, sweet Mia?" Said Atlas while smirking at me. I don't know what I'm even doing here. This is not me, and I don't take such actions.

And breaking into a damn ice-cream store at this time is definitely not what I would do.

"Atlas i don't think that's a good idea" I muttered nervously while looking looking around. Looking anywhere but at his face.

"It's just ice-cream, what's the harm in that? Plus it's not like we're stealing. In fact, I'll make sure to leave the money on the counter before closing the door on our way out. As if nothing happened." Atlas said, is trying to reassure me. "Does that make you feel any better? Can we have some ice-cream now, sweet Mia?"

Oh please not again with his award-winning smirk.

"What flavor would you like to have?" He asked me while moving around, getting the cup and scooping in some vanilla for himself I assume.

"Chocolate almond fudge, please." I couldn't help myself. I mean who cares at this point? I kind of wanted some ice cream to boost my energy up.

Both my mental and physical energy.

"There you go" he gave me my scoop and he took his.

I watched him as he closed the door of the shop and started walking ahead of me. I stood there stunned, my ice-cream was already melting but I didn't even bother. All I was thinking of was who this man is, and why do I feel like I've known him for ages?

"Are you good?" He turned to me and said.

"Yeah. I'm okay" and I started walking ahead trying to get all these thoughts off my head and for once just enjoy the moment.

We started walking back towards the lake, we both sat down on the rocks eating our ice-cream peacefully. No words were spoken until I said "We shouldn't have broken into that shop" while fiddling with my shirt sleeves.

He didn't say anything, instead, he continued eating his ice cream.

"Hello? I'm talking, you know?" I said exasperated. I hate it when people ignore me, or when I send a message and get left on seen. I hate that and it bothers me.

He suddenly let out a laugh. Atlas is laughing. At. Me.

"That shop is my grandparents' and I work there sometimes when it's too crowded and they need help." And he suddenly let out a set of keys. "This is the shop's key, beautiful."

Fudging piece of crap.

"Then why did we break into it like thieves?" I looked at him and at that point all I wanted was to smash this ice-cream cup into his head.

He laughed.

No, I mean he laughed.

I was still looking at him while he was laughing. What the heck is wrong with this guy?

I got up and decided on leaving. I couldn't handle his attitude anymore. He got on my nerves and I just couldn't entertain his behavior anymore.

I was walking on my way back home when I heard him call out my name. I ignored him. I just wanted to go back to bed and pretend non of these events occurred.

He kept running after me. And I was still walking as if no one was talking to me.

"Hey. Hey! Mia stop walking please let me talk!" I mean, hell no I don't wanna talk anymore.

I kept on walking, and eventually he stopped following me.

What did just happen?
