Wednesday has to suffer with her mom being gone.

Wednesday watched as the dirt hit the gothic coffin

Usually she would be exhilarated at the thought of death but this time it was different

Yeah she's had family members die but this was her mother

Everyone around her was crying

She couldn't cry, she wanted to but she couldn't

"Wednesday" she heard a soft voice behind her

Enid

"I'm so sorry" Enid hugged her

Of course she didn't hug back but she liked the feeling

"Are you going to stay at home for a while or are you coming back?" Enid asked as she pulled back from the goth

"I'm staying at school. Weems said it would help to be away from things that remind me of her" Wednesday looked more sad than usual

She walked away from the crowd Enid followed behind

The funeral was held at the Addams manor

Wednesday walked inside her house where there were people hanging out

She walked up to her dark room with the wolf close by

Enid had never been inside her house

Well she hadn't properly met her family until today

They walked into the goths room

Of course it was black and gloomy

"Nice room Weds" Enid whispered

Wednesday walked to the bay window and watched everyone from above

Enid sat on her bed "I'm sorry"

Wednesday said nothing

She didn't move

She couldn't process her death

Yes, she was rude to her mom but she still loved her

"I think we have to go now, Wednesday" Enid walked up to the shorter girl

Wednesday quickly wiped her tears

Enid knew she shouldn't comment on it

"Hey come here" Enid said in a soft voice as she pulled the goth by her arm over to her bed

Wednesday crossed her arms over her chest and looked down

Enid pulled her closer

Wednesday stood in between Enids legs, she cried

She's never cried in front of anyone

Enid just watched as the girl with no emotion unraveled in front of her

Enid hugged her, Wednesday hugged back

"It's ok" Enid rubbed her back

They sat in silence before Wednesday said something

"This is so pathetic" she wiped her tears and stepped away from the wolf

Enid grabbed her arm before she could get too far

"No, it's ok to have emotion. Your mom died it's ok Wednesday"

"Tears won't bring her back it's pointless to show such a useless emotion"
