Emma tried her best to enjoy the dinner party but she couldn't. All she could do was think about  jenna and what she was wearing

Jenna isn't wearing the coat though

Emma tried her best to focus on her friends conversations

She periodically sipped champagne as she scanned the room

These types of parties made Emma feel out of place

She wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Jenna and she wouldn't mind if she was here but of course she was late

Extremely late

The quiet party soon became a little bit more lively as Jenna walked in

Everyone congratulated her on the Oscar she won

Emma couldn't think straight

She was in awe at her girlfriend and her attire

She bit her lip just thinking about it

God what she would do if this room was empty and it was just the two of them

First she would-

"You two alright?" Hunter snapped her out of her thoughts

"Hmm yeah what do you mean?"

"Well you two haven't talked since she got here"

"I- well I guess we got into a small argument this morning"

That argument was a full on fight

Of course Emma apologized and moved on but she could still feel tension
