31. Cure

Imlie looks at the time,11:50 pm

10 minutes to aryan's birthday and she was still working on his gift.  3 sleepless nights and still she couldn't finish on time 

It was a hard task to pick a gift because aryan was very rich and had almost everything.  So imlie knew money wasn't going to help her. She had her salary saved which was a lot for her but nothing to aryan. And he wouldn't be happy about her spending it like this

Arpita di also told that aryan didn't like midnight celebrations and cakes because they were very creamy and sugar loaded (aryan isn't a human at this point🚶🏻‍♀️). Her husband used to bake a cake for aryan every birthday and they were afraid of upsetting aryan. But imlie is imlie 

So after keeping a heavy stone on her heart imlie baked a cake which had almost no sugar and was diet friendly without their knowledge 

Imlie sees arpita di and kaki maa walking out of his room 

She takes a deep breath and goes to aryan and finds him busy staring screen of his phone 

Imlie clears her throat as aryan looks at her

"Happy birthday akadbagge!!!!" Imlie says excitedly hugging him dancing 

Aryan freezes for a moment then wraps his arms around her pulling her closer. It was the first time they have actually hugged..and they both were happy 

"Umm..uu hum..." she says freeing herself and keeps the cake in front of aryan 

"Thank you, but i don't like cakes.  But knowing you, you should love it..so you can eat it.." aryan says shrugging 

Imlie rolls her eyes and smiles

"Kaahe naahi pasand?" She asks while biting her lip sure of his answer 

"Because it's loaded with sugar and fats. I don't like Messing my diet..aur jo cake mujhe pasand...well leave it imlie.." he says handing her cake back

"Toh phir pyaare akadbagge...hum bhi tumar diet se mess naahi kar rahe h...arpita didi se sab puch chuke the....uu humka recipe di thi..jaisan jiju banawt rahe.." imlie closes her eyes almost expecting him to shout at her

But instead he takes the cake from her making her sit too

"To khilao phir"

"Khila...khila de..." imlie still shocked takes a spoon of cake feeding aryan with shaking hands

Aryan takes the spoon from her taking it to her mouth 

"Naahi ! Dekho humko tum saza dedo par ee zehar naahi khilao...tum janat naahi ho humko kitna dard hua tha ee jante hue ki hum feeka cake bana rahe h!" Imlie says recoiling back as aryan laughs at her

She made something according to his preferences even if it was against her taste..just for his happiness.  At first he felt a bit upset about her meddling with his memories of his jiju but aryan noticed her not sleeping from 3 days . She wss working on something.  All for his happiness.  So she deserved it.Wow look at you aryan being considerate ! This girl is changing you back

"Seems like ye pura mera h phir..." aryan says keeping it away 

"Aur..ek cheez aur h...matlab hum koshish kiye pura ho jaye par naahi hua...to uu hum tumka baad me denge..." 

"Ab mujhe curiosity ho gai h....unfinished hi dikha do.."

Imlie hesitantly goes to her room picking her sketchbook bringing it to Aryan and showing it
