Aryan runs outside to see guests leaving hurriedly he tried to location arpita but couldn't see anything in the crowd
"ABP chinta mat karo ! Arpi di aur chotu theek honge...goli kisi ko lagi naahi h...mil jayegi di"
"Imlie goli abhi nahi lagi h! Whoever it is , is waiting for crowd to go away"
"ABP tumdi ko dekho. Kaki maa ko hum dhud ke safe rakhiye...aur...apna dhyan rakhna" Saying that imlie merges into the crowd
The hall was almost empty when aryan say arpita standing in a corner hands around her belly with her eyes closed
Aryan goes and immediately hug her tightly seeing her safe
"Di aap theek h na?!" Aryan asks as arpita clenches onto him in pain nodding
"Shit...do we need to go to the hospital di?!"
"Aru..it's fine.."
"No it's not ! Let's go"
"Aryan singh rathore...bohat jaldi me ho lagta h" Aryan turns to find dev chaturvedi standing being him with a gun
"Let di go.."
"What's the fun in that? She's a rathore too afterall, she did take after veer for a short time...how can i leave such an important person ? And look ! A new generation is there too" he says pointing the gun at her stomach
"Aru...ye sab kya ho raha h?! Why is he here?"
"Oh i thought you were smart arpita...don't tell me you haven't figured out how i killed your father or your husband "
"What? ...Arvind...he died in an accident.."
"Dev stop ! " aryan knew this man well. He was playing with a pregnant woman's emotion. Cause her more pain than a gunshot would ever do
"Aww your dear brother hasn't told you? I planned everything, excellently...without leaving any evidence , you husband had a painful death arpita...his limbs were chopped because he was ran on by a truck"
"Why?! Why did you?!" She shouts closing her eyes in pain
"Why did i? Well it was all for dear aryan here, but his luck ! He got saved"
"It wasn't my luck dev, it was destiny. Someone had to punish you for all your crimes" aryan says confidently
Dev laughs evily " Aryan i have a gun in my had, and you have nothing. You should be begging me for your life !"
Suddenly someone from behind hits dev snatching the gun
"Meethi?" Dev asks in a sudden. Lost in his past
Her features matched so much with someone he once knew, the same skin tone, the courage..those eyes
Imlie takes the opportunity and slides the gun to aryan but dev holds her tightly as she struggles
"Chodho humka !" Imlie says as dev gets mesmerized by her accent. This young girl reminded him so much of someone now from her accent too .
"Imlie ! " aryan shouts in worry
"Put the gun down !" He says pulling imlie close to him as a shield
"Naahi ! Aryan aaj mauka h tumhare pass...khatam kardo ee sab!" Imlie says looking at aryan as he lowers his hands
"I...can't...not when it's you at risk imlie.."
Dev smirks pulling her closer with a tight grip. Love always made everyone weak. It was better to not love someone according to him
Imlie takes the moment steps on his foot, hitting his stomach with her elbow getting free
As Dev moans in pain as aryan raises the gun again
Suddenly 2 more people enter in with guns
Aryan pushes both arpita and imlie behind him
"If anybody moves I'll kill dev"
"If dev dies, everyone of you will too" says another man point gun at arpita and other one at imlie
"I'll let him go...for now...and you'll let go of my family " aryan says making a deal
"It's not over aryan. I will return" dev says moving slightly getting out
"Imlie we need to take di to hospital now !"
"Han ! " imlie says making arpita stand as they both take her to the car
"Gun do humka...agar koi aaya to.."
Aryan hands her the gun which imlie takes with shaking hands
"Kaki maa safe h..hospital jake unko bata di h..."
Aryan nods while getting inside the car as imlie sits with arpita and they drive
"Aru.."
"Shhh di it's okay "
" Aru tujhe pata tha na ye sab? "
"Han di...mujhe pata tha..starting se..par maine ye baat kisi ko nahi batana hi sahi samjha..na apko na maa ko"
"Kyu?!!"
"Isliye! Taki aplogo ko wo dard na ho !" Aryan shouts frustratedly
"Aryan ! " imlie shouts at him reminding arpita was in pain already
" sorry di... "
"Dono chinta mat karo...sita maiyya sab theek kar degi...didi chotu ko kuch naahi hoga...aur ABP didi ko bhi kuch naahi hoga.." imlie says calming them down
She couldn't digest how someone can be so heartless to make a pregnant woman go through the trauma of her husband's death. He had planned to kill both of them today
But beside all this...imlie could push an unsettling feeling away
