Surprises

You lay with your head in your pillow, crying. you feel Hailee's hand stroking your hair out of your face. "y/n?" you look at her with red eyes. "what did you see..?" your voice cracks while tears stream down your face. "my parents" you wisper. you see clarity on her face. "oh.." you know that Hailee has a hard time when you talk about your parents, she has no idea how to handle that. "do you umm, do you want me to call you sick from school?" she asks you. you shake your head while wiping your tears away. "I will be okay, just- give me some minutes and I'll be ready" "alright, call me when your ready to go" you nod while Hailee walks out. 

a couple minutes later you walk back downstairs. "ready?" Hailee asks you, she is standing in the hallway with her coat on and her keys in her hand. "yeah but where are you going?" you ask her while putting your coat on. "I'm going to bring you silly. Your bus left already so I'm giving you a ride" ofcourse: your late. "oh well thanks" you say when you walk outside to the car.

"thanks for the ride" "your welcome, have a good day at school" "I will" you close the door of the car and walk to the entrance of the school. you are on your way to your locker when the principal stops you. "hey y/n, do you have some time?" you turn around while putting your math books in your bag. "not really, I got class" you see him nodding and talking to himself. "okay umm when is your break?" he askes you. "12.00-12.30 if I'm right" you throw your bag over your shoulder. "okay, I'll see you at 12.05 in my office" you nodd. "okay" he walks away and you make your way to class. where does he wants to talk about?

your hear the school bell ring. FINALLY, class is too long! you grab your bag and make your way to the crowded door, everyone would like a lunch break. as soon as your out of the classroom you turn left, away from the busy hallway, on your way to the principals office. 

you knock on the wooden door. "come in" you make your way inside the office. "y/n, welcome! take a seat." you put your bag next to the chair and take your seat. "you wanted to see me?" you ask him. "yes, but first: can I make you happy with a drink? water? coffee? tea?" he looks at you while making himself a coffee. "no thank you, I'm good" "okay, well lets get started then" he takes his seat behind his desk. "so there is a new student comming next week, and we need somebody to show her around. we saw that she takes a lot of the same classes as you so we thought we could pair her up with you? only if you like ofcourse?" you sit there kind of shocked, you have never been the popular tour kind of girl. "umm yeah sure" "yes? oh great! well her name is Theresa, and she will be starting next Tuesday. so I would like to set up a meeting at Monday afther your last class so you can meet her befor she starts. is that good for you?" your nodding "yeah sure, totally" "okay well thank you for your time y/n! enjoy the rest of your lunch break." you stand up and grab your bag "I will thank you" and you walk out. wow, did not expect that.
