"ED!" I shout as I race around the beach, sand flicking up as I run. it's getting in my shirt, it's annoying me. "EDWARD!" I scream again I'm worried now, did I end up at the wrong end of the beach? oh god I hope I didn't, I don't want to miss him.
The night is growing old, and the sun is coming up, I can't find Ed, god fuck it I look up and down the beach one last time. NOTHING
The ocean is crashing into the rocks as I sit on the cliff side, looking over at the light house. The light is starting to go out and I sit and think about what life could be like if Ed and I ran a lighthouse.

"love can you come help me with this" Yelled Ed from the top of the light house. "Coming dear" I yell back, walking up the stairs. I see Ed in all his glory, his long salt and pepper hair with stubble slowly growing back, god I love him. He's laying on a teal blanket with candles everywhere.
"c'mon love, lay with me " He says as he taps the spot next to him. I lay down next to him being mindful of all the candles. I look up and see the roof is open and the stars are out. We cuddle up with one another "You know how you said you wanted a cat" he said "yeah" I replied "well... I may have found a stray one hauled away in one of the fish boxes down at the docs" he said with a chuckle "You may have found one"? I ask "well no I really did find one" He said as he got up and went down stairs. Coming back a few moments later with a old and bashed wooden box.
Out of that box popes a little head. It was a kitten! A small, pure white Ragdoll. She jumped out and made her way across the room, finally landing on my lap. "Aw, look at that" said Ed "Now i have two blonds babies to look after" chuckled Ed as he slowly pats the soon to be named kitten "She needs a name" Ed noted "Oh, yes she does" I say excitedly.
After a moment of deep concentration, I break the silence "How about whisky" I ask, as I stroked her back and she lent into my body and purred. "whisky... I like it!" Ed said with a smile. His face is so warm, I could just stay here, staring at him, whiskey on my lap forever.
