strange day at the beach| Marc + steven

Alright this was quite fun to write about ngl.

This was requested by Fictionwitch1819Cat

And I had to research about the Egyptian god.

Marc and Steven have separate body's in this.

Summary : Marc and Steven went to the beach to enjoy the sun but they find a child and found something odd about the child. They get attached to the child real quick.

Characters: Marc Spector, Steven grant, you and mentions of khnum or khnemu (it could be spelt anyway).

"What a beautiful day, right Marc?" Steven smiled looking up into the sky without a cloud in it, Steven was enjoying it but meanwhile Marc wasn't used to the sun as often as Steven so he was just squinting his eyes the whole time.

"Eh, a bit sunny" he said. Steven ran his feet in the sand enjoying every moment. Marc just chuckled at him and looked in the distance to see something near the ocean.

"Oi Steven look" he pointed at the thing near the ocean making Steven look. "What is that? You want to check it out?" He asked Marc just sighed and said "I guess so, I mean we have nothing else to do".

Both of the men started to walk and the more they looked at the thing in the distance, the more they realised it was a person. They stopped at a distance so that they could see the person at the beach and they realised it was a child.

"Marc it's a child, where are their parents?" Steven questioned. They weren't anybody there except Marc, Steven and the child "I don't know but I'm going to find out why they're here" Marc started to walk then Steven walked behind him.

Marc was close Enough to talk to the child. You were making sandcastles while you were in the ocean "um excuse me kid" he called out.

You looked up at him a bit frightened by him making you go into the ocean. "I didn't mean to scare you but-" Marc was cut off by Steven, Steven had looked at the child's neck to see gil's "Marc look at their neck" Steven said.

Marc had looked and had a shock expression on his face "who are your parents? Do you know their names?" Steven asked in a soft tone. You were   quiet for a minute until you finally talked "khnum.." you muttered.

"What did they say? Steven what did they say?" Marc asking Steven. Steven had a confused but a surprised face "khnum is the Egyptian god of the water" Steven told Marc.

"Sorry but what's your name?" Steven questioned you "(name)" you whispered "are their his avatar?" Marc questioned. You were weary of them, you weren't meant to be out of the ocean anyway khnum had well, grounded you.

"Is it ok if you come out the ocean?" Marc asked before Steven could say anything else. You had enough of these men and started to swim away "no wait! We're khonshu avatar!" Steven shouted .

You had stopped, khnum always told you about khonshu, the god of the moon. The moonlight rarely hitted the ocean and you never actually saw the moon, khnum told you it was always to dangerous to go when the ocean was pitch black.

You swam back to the men "thank you, is it ok if can come out of the water please?" Marc asked. You hesitated "but if I come out the water too long I'll die, that's what khnum said" you told them .

You moved out of the water. You sat on the sand with your scaley legs in the water "kid how long have you been khnum avatar?" Marc asked "Marc! You can't ask that!" Steven called out.

"Khnum been with me my whole life" you told him. Marc was quiet "why don't you come with us?" Steven offered "steven how would that work?!?" Marc questioned him.

"Well we drove in a car that took us, 25 maybe 20 minutes but if we're quick enough it can take us 15 minutes, (name) how long can you live without water?" Steven asked you "..30 minutes " you muttered.

Steven looked at Marc with a smug grin on his face while Marc was just staring at him "well kid, you want to come with us?" Marc said. You were hesitant but you knew you had to leave "I can't" you tried to swam away until Marc grabbed your arm.

"Listen kid, you don't want to be avatar" Marc said with his grip getting tighter "khnum! Khnum help!" You called out.

But he never came.
