"How are you doing Elena?" The woman at the desk asked.

"I think you've got me mistaken for someone else?" I stated, but it came out more of a question. "I'm Bethany King. I'm here for my schedule."

She seemed even more confused than I did, but handed me the paper anyways. I shook the thought off my mind once again and walked down the hall until I got to the locker number that was on top of the schedule. I tossed my book back inside glancing down at my paper. Calculus, American history, Biology, lunch, Physical education, art, and the finally English class.

I pulled out a couple of the books I needed and started looking for room 58. Then the thought came to my mind. Who's Elena?

The whole day was filled with "How are you doing Elena?" and "Sorry, I think you got the wrong person, I'm Bethany." I have had enough of it by lunch, and ditched the rest of the day. I was just that kind of person, school just wasn't something I cared to much about, but to top all of it off that ruined my day, I learned that this school doesn't have a softball team. I shook my head, wiping the thought out of my mind, and got in my car, driving back to my house. I knew Alex wasn't here so I was all clear. However, something far on in the road caught my attention, but I didn't know exactly what I was seeing, until I was right in front of it.

I quickly stopped seeing the person laying on the ground. Jumping out of the car I ran up to him. He looked in this mid to early twenties. He had black hair and his blue eyes were open, but in a bored way. "What the heck is wrong with you!" I shouted, noticing that he was not injured.

He looked over at me, and his bored expression changed into a confused expression. "Elena, What are you doing here?" His voice spoke.

"Who is Elena?" I asked, my irritation clear in my voice. That's when something happened that I didn't expect. He grabbed my by the neck and thew me against a tree. I felt my head slam against the tree, and started to feel dizzy, but felt a sharp pain in my arm, like a needle

"Kathrine," he hissed, yet that is all I remember.

I woke up in a small room. The walls were made of concrete and there was a lot of what I believe to be is verbena plant growing. I looked down at my arm seeing a purple and blue bruise and a little scab when it was. I looked up towards a door a little to quickly, feeling whiplash. Suddenly I felt a sharp pain on the back of my head. My hand imitatively reached up to it, and felt something wet on it, but I knew exactly what it was before I even looked at it. Blood.

"Hello?" I asked, but regretting it quickly. I was just kidnapped and I'm calling out for help. Wow.

I stood up and walked around the room. My dizziness had died down a bit, but I was still cautious for multiple reasons. I touched the verbena plant. I've always thought that the plant was pretty. I thought that ever since 8th grade when our science teacher had us do a research project over plants. Of course we couldn't choose our own plant, but I was glad she chose it, because would have chose something boring, like a sunflower.

I got snapped out of my thought over past memories by the creaking sound of a door opening. My head slowly moved as I stiffened. I mean, who wouldn't? I was just kidnapped by God knows who. "Who are you?" a boy with brown hair, who looked no older than 17 or 18 years old.

"B-Bethany," I shuttered. He looked as if he was about to say something, but nothing came out, and he just walked out, locking the door behind him. I let out a breath that I didn't even notice that I was holding in. I sat back down on the ground, waiting for something to happen or someone to save me.
