"Now, what are you four up here talking about?" They heard a familiar voice interrupt their conversation.
"Gojo-Sensei! Don't scare us like that." Nobara whined.
The man only chuckled at the scare he gave them. "So, anybody care to explain what the topic at hand was?"
"Why do I feel like you already know?" Maki questioned, watching him step in the room and close the door.
"I feel unsafe." Megumi stated, referring to the door being closed.
Gojo sighed. "I only closed it so she wouldn't hear."
They all looked at him confused. They could've sworn they were whispering.
"Despite your whispering, you know we still heard you.." he said, looking at them expectantly.
Nobara hit Yuji's head. "You idiot."
"Why'd you hit me! Hit Megumi!" he whined.
"Don't hit Megumi, hit Yuji." Megumi said.
"Quit hitting each other period.." Gojo said, interrupting their small argument. "You may not know this, but just because the walls may be soundproof doesn't mean she doesn't have good hearing."
Maki shrugged. "What does that have to do with anything?"
"What I'm trying to get at is, if I heard a bit of your conversation, then she probably heard most, if not all of it." He told them, pinching the bridge of his nose.
While Maki and Megumi didn't seem too bothered, Yuji and Nobara were almost panicking.
"She can only be so observant, right?" Nobara asked cautiously.
"The only reason she got the house with soundproof walls was because she got tired of how well she could hear. You tell me."
Now, both Yuji and Nobara simply didn't want to move. They now felt like everything they did could be heard - and it was quite unnerving.
"I don't think it's that big of a deal." Megumi said. "It's not like she'd care too much."
Maki agreed. "You two seem like the type to get that comment a lot."
Gojo nodded, standing at the door. "While we do, the main point here is it is not the case."
In his mind, he knew a certain assumption was going to be made, or rather a question he'd rather not answer.
Though, Maki already had her question on her mind for a while.
"Do you want it to be?" Maki spoke, just stopping him before he left.
Sighing, Gojo looked at them silently, before turning back to continue down the stairs. "This is the time that I leave."
Nobara stood offended. "No, no." she opened the door. "Answer the question!"
After Nobara, Yuji and Maki followed curiously, Megumi taking out his phone to try to record.
"Gojo, answer the question!" Nobara whined, watching him open the fridge and grabbing a water.
Gojo shook his head. "I'm not answering that question, Nobara."
Yuji looked to where you'd usually be, though, the seat was empty and your computer closed. "Gojo-Sensei, where's Y/N-San?"
Gojo turned. "Hm. Probably outside."
"So you answer Itadori's question but not mine??" Nobara asked sassily.
"Yep."
"You're so mean!" she whined, turning away and crossing her arms.
Meanwhile, Maki and Megumi already made their way outside due to curiosity.
