Nate had tried to save him and so did Sam but it was too late and they had to leave the ship and swim away from the cave because otherwise they'd die while trying to swim away as it all came crumbling down above them..

Nate said we have to try save him.. Sam!

Sam yells no Nate we can't it's already too late!

Nate yells no Rafe!

And they both are pulled back forcing them to leave and escape from the sinking ship and the cave that's crumbling down..

Rafe is sinked down with the ship and he's conscious for a few seconds seeing the light and Nate and Sam..

He says..

Nate.. Sam..

And he sinks down..

But on his surprise..

The sea carries him as the ship sinks he's being pulled back up because the force from the sea is carrying him back up or rather pushes him away..

Rafe not conscious but passed out as Nate and Sam leave the cave Rafe is also being pushed away from it through the other entrance..

As the Avery's treasure is sinked deep down for no one to reach Nate and Sam get saved and Rafe is send to the other side of the island..

Meanwhile Nate and Sam gather up and Nate swears damn it.. not like this..

Why..

Sam says we tried brother we tried everything but it wasn't enough

Nate says no if we tried harder we could have saved him.. Sam! God damn it.. why..

Then Elena comes out of nowhere and yells Nate? Sam!

Nate notices her and says nothing..

Sam says Elena you are safe too?

Nate looks sad and broken down.. Rafe..

Elena says hey where's Rafe?

Nate looks down on the beach..

And Sam looks at Nate and then Elena..

He uhh.. Rafe's.. he didn't make it..

Elena says wait what? Why?

Nate says we could have saved him all that we did.. but it wasn't enough..

Elena says Nate what happened? What happened to Rafe..

Nate says he sinked down with the ship..

Sam says we tried saving him but it was too late..

Then as they say that Sully comes out of nowhere

Hey Nate.. Sam glad to see you guys are still alive hahaha wait where's Rafe?

Nate looks at Sully..

Same looks at Sully..

Nate looks down.. Rafe..

Sam says he.. he didn't make it..

Sully looks worried and then realises what they are saying oh.. oh god.. no..

Elena looks at the horizon are you sure he's gone?

Nate says nothing..

Sam says he sinked down with the ship there was nothing we could do..
