"I really want to go, but the photo shoot is today and they think it's gonna take all night. I'm so sorry." Amaris apologized again. James' band was playing that night and Amaris desperately wanted to go, but if she didn't show up to the photo shoot her career could end up in shambles.
"Hey. It's alright. I understand and there is always the next one. I'm not going to get upset because you can't make it, your job is also important and that was planned before I even told you the date of the show. It's okay." He told her wrapping her in a hug.
"What did I do to deserve you?" She asked looking up at him.
"You were yourself...and I fell in love with that." He said making her smile.
"You're so sappy."
"You love it though."
"Yeah. I do." She leaned up kissing him. She pulled away and checked the time. "I have to go. Gotta go set up and you have to go do sound check."
"Ugh I hate sound checks."
"Yeah, but if you don't do them the concert won't be as good."
"I guess your right."
"Alright I have to go. I love you."
"I love you too." Amaris left her parents house and drove down the street. She had time to kill. Truth be told, the photo shoot was the day before, when she told James she had a meeting with the company. She planned on surprising him and the band by taking pictures of the show and surprising them backstage with them. The concert wasn't until around seven and it was currently three, so four hours is all she had. She did what she does best to pass the time. Shopping. She did need a new outfit for tonight since her current outfit wouldn't go best with the vibe of the place.
