Family and Fun!! <3

TW's: Suggested hurt, mentions of hurt, suggested bad family, especially bad father, and suggested depression... Kinda- if you read between the lines towards the end..

Fundy was playing in the sand with Deo and Quackity, who Tommy introduced.

"Fundy!"
Tommy called out to the Fox hybrid who looked up at him in excitement.
"Come here!"
He called, smiling as Fundy ran over with a excited grin.
"I want you to meet Deo and Quackity! They're your other uncles."
Tommy explained, putting a reassuring smile on and a reassuring hand on Fundy. Fundy glanced at them warily and then at him,
"They're not like Dad right?"
He asked, a obvious dislike for his dad in his tone. Tommy quickly shook his head and reassured him otherwise.
"No no they're not like him, they're a lot nicer and better!"
Tommy reassured quickly, making sure Fundy didn't think that these guys would be like his dad.
"Ok! I'm Fundy!"
The boy exclaimed, quickly grinning at his new uncles who smiled widely in return.

Fundy had taken a liking to them a lot quicker then Tommy expected him to, but that was good! They all looked quite happy, so Tommy had started watching them.
"They look like a proper family."
Techno said, startling Tommy and making his wings instinctively shoot up, but he got them under control quickly and smiled softly.
"Yeah they do."
"Fundy and I were talking earlier.."
Techno paused for a moment while Tommy hummed in acknowledgement, his wings ruffling as he did so.
"I asked him what happened to him and he muttered something about 'the meanies in the forest' and spaced out for a minute or two. He seemed upset and panicky when he finally snapped out of it, but he seemed to get over it kinda quickly."
Techno explained quietly, making sure the three that were playing weren't disrupted by his words. Tommy stayed quite and had a carefully neutral look on his face for a few moments.
"That's odd.."
He muttered quietly, a small frown forming on his face.
"Very"
Techno commented, trying to gage his brother's reaction. Even Tommy's wings weren't moving.
"I think that we should wait a while before we ask him again. As much as I would like to know what hurt him now so I can go and kick it's ass, he clearly seemed upset by it. And I don't want to upset him anymore right now, he needs to recover from whatever was in there."
Tommy quietly suggested, and Techno nodded silently, showing he agreed with his brother's words. He was unable to hide a small chuckle and Tommy glanced at him with a brow raised.
"Sorry. Sometimes I forget how smart and experienced you are when you're around people you enjoy."
Techno muttered happily, he enjoyed seeing his normally gloomy brother be his normal, happy, self again. Tommy smiled sheepishly and nodded.
"It's nice"
He said, looking over at the 3 playing again.
"I'm glad you were able to find your family."
Techno said, his affection for the two others that Tommy considered brothers still clear in his words.
"I'm glad you're apart of it."
Tommy said, smiling at his brother before going over to the rest of his family and joining in on the fun. Techno stayed silent for a moment, a bit shocked, but then he widely smiled and went closer to his family, watching them all fondly.

Author's note 2/13/23: Yay! Fluff! I thought that since so much has happened in the last few chapters that I'd just have a little break for them and a fluff since we haven't seen a lot of Techno yet! :)) Anyways I hope you enjoy and as always have a wonderful day!
