I lay awake in my room. Blinds closed with the moonlight shinning in through the cracks. Enough to light up the room to see but dark enough to fall asleep.. if I could. I turned on my side to face the person who always kept me up but not for the wrong reasons. My eyes softened as a handsome ash- blonde boy entered my view, his breathing was soft and slow. Perfect. His forelock fell onto the pillow hitting my forehead so I moved it away. Perfect. I moved him closer hugging him. Perfect. I closed my eyes resting my head on his.
I felt my arms being moved and I kept my eyes closed.
"(Name) I know your awake." I open my eyes to see Hunter looking at me.
"How'd you know?" I smirked as I kissed his cheek.
"You don't work for the emperor for your whole life and know when someone his watching you or sleeping." His eyes soften and his face fell a bit.
"Hey don't worry about that. He's long gone. And I think Eda would make sure of that." He softly smiled and kissed my cheek. I giggled as it tickled.
"Why you up? Are you sick." I turned in the bed so I was on my back looking up at the ceiling.
"I was just looking at you. And wondering how I got such a prefect boyfriend." I turned to see Hunter sitting up staring at me. I sat up and his eyes followed me. "Mate you alright?"
"How can u say that? I'm a grimwalker, I have scars all over, I'm- I'm"
"Perfect. Perfect, Hunter. In my eyes and in everyone else's eyes your perfect. Everyone has scars they cannot forget. Some can hide them, some cannot but they all have a story to tell."
"Yeah well mine tell me of a past I am not proud of. Mistakes were made that-"
"That made you who you are. I've done things in my past that yes, I am not proud of."
"What? Like the one time you almost buried the house down." Hunter giggled at his own comment.
"Hey! You were the one who said we should make Darius cookies." I hugged him and gave him a noggin.
"Ow. Hey! Heheh stop." We both laughed as he slowly rested him my arms. "But what is your past? All I know is of the stuff u have told me and every-time I ask u or Darius you both tense?"
I stared down at Hunter his eyes narrowed.
I sighed. "Well Hunter. I haven't fully honest with you. Let's start with the first time the accident happened."
Nooo spoilers my lovely witch's. I know this isn't really a chapter but I got drenched by the rainfall over here in Australia. It sucked I had to walk in the rain for 15 minutes.
