Women, Girlfriend and Heart

Chapter 1

I just wanted to get this out of the way. I only posted this on fanfiction.net at first, but then I decided to just show this here too. Again, this was just for our Discord event. See you later!

"I like you! Please go out with me!"

Those were the words that came out of Denji's mouth as he bowed his head and held out his hand for the person in front of him to take. He also held a bouquet of flowers behind his back, just for the extra theatrics because he saw this as a special occasion.

What's the occasion?

Why, it's the day that he'd ask his homeroom teacher to go out with him!

And he wasn't going to back out now!

As for the person whom he just asked out, she looked incredibly dumbfounded by what he just said that she almost thought she was hearing things.

"I'm sorry, Denji-kun... but can you please repeat that?"

Denji smiled for a moment, before offering her the bouquet of flowers behind his back. He felt confident in himself that he can do this, and there was no chance of him failing! Not after practicing what to say and how to act in front of a mirror everyday for three months!

"I like you a lot, Makima-sensei. And I was wondering if... if you'd like to go out with me?"

The red-haired woman with yellow eyes named Makima could only stare Denji in surprise, clearly not expecting a student of all people to confess to her today.

Wait, what am I doing? Telling a story with no context...

Anyways, to make things simple, Makima was considered to be the most beautiful teacher in the school, with most of the male population having a huge crush on her and many of the females wanting to be like her. She was as charismatic and persuasive as she was dangerous to mess with. Why is that? It's because despite her popularity within the place, no one has really dared to ask her out or even confess to her, fearing that it would end up badly for the person confessing to her.

On the other hand, Denji was someone who never really took school seriously. Ever since he was born, he didn't think there was anything good that would come out of studying because people would just forget about everything they learn in classes as time rolls by.

However, he did know that in order to advance in life and be successful, he would have to take his responsibilities as a student a lot more seriously... of course, not so much that he'd be like those nerds with glasses who take studying so seriously to the point that they could just live in the school itself to make things easier for them! He made sure that his grades were just enough for him to pass and nothing more, because it would just be a waste of effort.

That is, until he stepped into high school.

The first time that he laid eyes on Makima was last year, when he was still a freshman around here. It was love at first sight for him and honestly, who could blame him? As mentioned before, Makima was the most beautiful teacher in the school and was admired by everyone.

In fact, it was said that every class that she handled always ends up becoming better than how they were before. It's also said that her power and control over students is so strong that if a random delinquent were to be under her supervision, then he would be transformed into a normal functioning student in the end.

Denji was obviously attracted to her, but he knew that Makima-sensei would never go out with someone who doesn't even take their studies seriously. That was already a big disadvantage for him because of what he's like but fortunately for him, Makima wouldn't be his teacher until his second year (she mostly handles the second and third-year students)!
